Aka "Gisouai" 7" flexi - Jisatsu Label, 1984, Japan, (GL-006ES) - $38
Another total ADK worship from the mid '80s. Released on Gas' Jisatsu Label which tried to focus on putting out the records by the lesser known bands at that time(such as this band, Nikudan, The Sexual, Confuse on the Jisatsu Omnibus) from non-major cities . Don't miss this flexi out if you dig this particular style of '80s Japanese bands like Kikeiji, Masturbation, The Sadist, Barigade, Skinintenka or some of those darker soudning tunes of The Stalin.
Anti "Dynamite Kids" 7" EP - R.B.F., 1984, Japan, (R.B.F.-204) - $30
Really powerful and wild '80s Japanese punk from Osaka. Featuring the original Nickey & The Warriors guitarist. His razor sharp guitar sound is awesome. Probably not for those who only listen to HC, but if you enjoy the classic Japanese punk bands like The Stalin, The Star Club, Cobra, late Swankys, or '80s U.K. punk, then you will dig this EP. 4 tracks.
Anti-Cimex "Raw Live '84~86" CD - Hardcore Horror, 2005, Sweden, Peruvian import, New/Unplayed - $4
Apocalypse "Earth" 7" EP - Crust, 1992, US, Hand-numbered sleeve(# 679), (Crust-07-001) - $25
Amazing U.K. influenced metallic crust-core from CA, like Axegrinder, Hellbastard, Amebix, Antisect, Misery, Glycine Max, Effigy, AGE etc. A must have 7" if you're into this style of the bands. Apocalypse existed from '86 to '90. The first Crust Record release. There's the discography CD out on Half-Life Records.
Armagedom "Apogeu Da Insanidade..." CD - Helvetet, 2005, Brazil, w/ Bonus live tracks, Digipack package, Sealed, (HEL 005) - $4
Asta Kask "Live" LP - Rosa Honung, 1986, Sweden, (ROSAXP 27) - $25
B-5(Punks Not Dead!) - Photo Book - Sanwa Shuppan, 1985, Japan, Paperback format, Full-color covers, 100 pages - (Trade or Offer)
Extremely rare and totally amazing live photo book featuring lots of classic as well as several obscure '80s Japanese Punk/Hardcore bands. 2~4 pages by each band. Color and B&W photos taken circa '83/84. The front and back covers are The Stalin. Kuro(4p.), The Stalin(4p. + covers), Aburadako(4p.), Sodom(ADK-era!!!), Bloodberry(Tam's last band, ex-G-Zet/Bitousha/Rebel/Sekinintenka), The Star Club(5p.), Kyaah, Kenzi, The Willard, Zelda, P-Model, Malin Conia, The Continental Kids, Cock C'nel, Machizo Machida(Inu), Sadie Sads, Bunretsu etc. A lot of these photos have never been published elsewhere. Full-color covers and glossy pages. Also contains the fantastic 3-page ADK Records article/discography(incl. detailed pressing infos & release month/year) with Tam's comments, and some zine reviews. Probably the best thing about this book is that it has the ultra-rare(and awesome looking!) live photos of early Sodom from their early HC era, and ofcourse Bloodberry!!(Hiromi looks fucking hot!!) If you're a serious ADK fan/collector, you know these bands are the very important pieces in the Japanese HC/Punk history and how hard to even find their photos. These are some of the very few existing official photos by them. Killer large color live shots of Bloodberry's female singer Hiromi(ex-Rebel & Bitousha) and a few small shots of Tam, which must have been taken right before he disappeared(or died?). Never actually seen their photos or early Sodom photos elsewhere, and especially since Bloodberry got to play only a very few shows after changing the name from G-Zet, I doubt so many live photos of them even exist. This book was done by a small magazine publisher that mainly did the underground sub-culture and pornos back then(Oddly, there used to be some non-major porn mags in Japan covering the Punk/HC stuff).
B-Strife "S/T" 7" EP - Skeleton, 1985, Japan, New/Unplayed, (S.R.-002) - $30
Released on the legendary Osaka based label Skeleton Records that put out the Coward & Gasmask 7"s. Ultra-raw and primitive HC with that '80s violent Japcore feel. They were planned to be on the unreleased Skeleton Records comp 8"("Sieg Heil Skeleton") with Gasmask, Crime, and Woodpeckers. 4 tracks incl. "Fuck The Clumsy Metal", "Tears Of '56" etc. These guys must have really hated metal as the chorus part on the song "Fuck The..." goes like "Metal kids, fuck off!!". Rumors that this song is about Randy Uchida from GISM.

Deformed "Sacrifice!!" 7" EP - Boston Tea Party, 1983, UK, Clear red vinyl, Poster sleeve, (NM/VG+), (Hø Hø 8) - $28
Note: The sleeve has a 3" mark from peeling of a tape at the bottom part and a few tiny thumbtack holes, otherwise in EX- condition. It doesn't really look that bad at all.
Desperate Children "Chaos/Fuck Day/I Love Punk" 7" flexi - Joy Riders, 1986, Japan, (No Cat. #) - $50
Another unknown but killer mid '80s band from Kyushu. Not exactly in the "typical" noisecore style came out of that area, but still AWESOME noisy chaotic HC/Punk!!!! The first two songs sound kinda noisecore-ish and the last song is in The Swankys vein. Highly recommend for fans of early Swankys, Gai, Gess, Gedon, No Cut, Chaos CH, Dust Noise or early Disorder/Chaos UK. You know the drill. Very rare self-released flexi.
Note: The flexi has a 1.2" visible bent, but plays fine without any skips. Just very minor surface noise at the non-recorded part.
Dessert "World Of Fantasy" 7" EP - Ranch, 1998, Japan, 1000 pressed, Clear & clear pink mixed vinyl, Insert, Flyer, (RANCH-01) - $28
The singer Ryuji used to be in the legendary bands Disarray, Bitousha and also this great obscure band Mino 5 with Chelsea(Deathside/Paintbox) and Katsuta(Tetsu-Arrey). The other Dessert members were/are in Sekinin-Tenka, Bloodberry(ex-G-Zet), Idiot Idolaters, Laughin' Nose, The Pogo, Kenzi & The Trips etc. As you can imagine from their background, these guys sure know what they're doing and you know what to expect from Dessert. 120% Burning Spirits style traditional metallic Japcore ala Death Side, Judgement, Crude, Nightmare, Warhead, Forward etc. Awesome throaty vocals as well. They did a great Disarray cover on the other release. This 4-track EP is a totally heavy-hitting smasher. The vinyl looks amazing, too. It's on a clear vinyl with some clear pink parts mixed. Comes in a nice glossy perforation package/sleeve(opened). Where it's supposed to have a stamped serial number is left blank on this copy.
Dessert "World Of Fantasy" 7" EP - Ranch, 1998, Japan, 1000 pressed, Clear vinyl w/ clear pink mixed, Stamped & numbered sleeve(# 461), Insert, Flyer, New/Unplayed, (RANCH-01) - $32

Featuring Sakevi's awesome and crazy looking political artwork, has their old contact address(c/o T.P.C. Records) and says "Beast Arts Propaganda" on it. The magazine contains the various Japanese & international punk/hardcore photos, articles, and rare old ads for AA Records, Dogma/City Rocker, ACC Video, The Zolge, Nira-Kodomo, Kyoaku-Kyojindan, Chu-Doku/Museum Records, Honey Deep Wet/Cage Records, 666 shop etc. The size is like MRR.

G-Spot "Radical & Shout" 7" flexi - Deadlock, 1983, Japan, (G-01S) - (Trade or Offer)
Damn, there were so many good bands came out of the Sendai city back then. Disarray, Bitousha, Rebel, Sekinin-Tenka, Idiot Idolaters, Lance Lot, Dead Person, Insect Powder, Tiffany's, The Vomits etc. which some of them are quite obscure and unknown like this band G-Spot.
G.I.S.M. "Victoious" Picture 7" EP - Japanese Leather, 1991, Japan, 300 pressed, Picture sleeve sheet, Fold-out insert & Stickers, (No Cat. #) - (Trade or Offer)

Gas "The Day After" 7" flexi - Jisatsu Label, 1984, Japan, (GL-002ES) - $70
Note: Never issued with an actual insert for this record. The label included the Jisatsu Label newsletter in the mailorder copies only. The same thing goes for the Gas 12".
Gas "Sweet Emotion" 12" - Jisatsu Label, 1985, Japan, Label newsletter insert, (GL-007E) - $48
This one might be even a bit harder to find than their 2nd flexi and the split 8". Comes with a mailorder-only "Jisatsu Label Tsuushin(newsletter)" insert. Featuring Tatsu on guitars! One of the best Japanese Punk/HC guitarits who also played in Gastunk, Dead Cops, Nurse etc. Does anybody know that he actually played on all of the songs on the first Ghoul EP?(Although Max was credited as a guitarist.)
Gastunk "Dead Song" LP - Dogma, 1985, Japan, 1000 pressed, Original 1st press!!, Insert (DOG-8) - $55
Rare original Dogma Records pressing of this classic 1st LP. There are 3 different pressings on 3 different labels, Dogma, Love and Vice Records. 5000~10000 copies of the Love and Vice issues were pressed, at least, and are more common than the Dogma issue.
Gastunk "Dead Song" LP - Love, 1986/85, Japan, Insert, (SEX69-000) - $28
Note: Overall in pretty good condition, however the very top part of the sleeve shows several tiny & very light spots from age discoloration(but it doesn't look so bad). Otherwise in NM. The back side(blank) of the insert has many small spots and also the vinyl(1st track of Side B) has a scuff mark that doesn't affect playing.
Gauze "Fuckheads" CD - XXX, 1997/84, Japan, (XXX-08) - $15
Official reissue of the legendary 1st LP, originally released on ADK Records in '84.
Gazime "Rock'n'Roll Suicide" 7" EP - Scat Pistol, 1995, Japan, "Intense Trad Core" logo sticker, (SPR 001) - $4
Geil "I'm" 7" EP - Taiyo, 1986, Insert, (LEO-003) - $25
This 4-track EP is highly recommended to those who dig the ADK Records style '80s Japanese punk bands. Dark, sharp and hard sounding punk with great melodies. Their songs have that specific drum style that's very similar to the Aburadako songs, the change of rhythm etc. I thought their 1st 12" was ok, but this EP is much better with the way more punkish tunes. Really unique style. This is definitely worth a listen if you're into that ADK stuff and any similar obscure bands from this era.
Gendou Missile "Attarimeeyo" 7" EP - Hold Up/Noise Room, 1986, Japan, (NRR-E012) - $25
Awesome hard drivin' Japanese punk with gruff vocals! Fucking great band, great EP. Cool yakuza-ish lyrics as well. This is probably the least known Hold Up/Noise Room release outside of Japan. Max from Ghoul is listed on the Special Thanks list. Gendou Missile used to play with both Japcore style and punk rock bands.
Gewalt "Osozaki Kuruizaki" Picture 7" EP - Nippon Koukaku Ongen, 199?, Japan, Fold-out insert, Clear PVC sleeve, (NKO-1) - $40
Excellent band!!!! This EP destroys!!!! Heavy and fast, traditional metallic Japcore style that's very similar to those "Burning Spririts" style bands like Death Side, Judgement, Bastard, Nightmare or Warhead... but! Gewalt played their songs waaaaaayyyyyy faster and heavier than any of those classic bands!!!!(and possibly even better than some of them...) Think of that good ol' traditional Japcore, the style wise, plus the "5x speed", "violent guitar riffs" and "ultra pissed-off vocals". Yes, the vocals are SICK!! I'd also say that the late Ghoul or Rapes sound mixed. The Gewalt singer used to be in a band called D.D.S. that often played gigs in Kansai area with Rapes, Dilenma, Nightmare, Warhead, City Indian etc. This EP simply fucking destroys... Something like the new Gauze LP is nothing comparing to this absolute smasher. Very hard to find, self-released 6-track EP. Cool artwork on a thick, high-quality picture disc.
Ghoul "Jerusalem" 7" EP - Hold Up/Noise Room, 1985, Japan, w/ mailorder-only sticker, (NRR-E007) - $68
Only the limited quantity of the mailorder copies through the label came with a bonus color sticker(band logo & mohawked skull) and those are very rare. Classic 2nd EP by this legendary band.
Gibbed "Eternal Life" 7" flexi - S.O.B.(Sound Of Burial), 1990, Japan, New/Unplayed, (Ultra Fast 4) - $18
This is some really brutal shit. 6 tracks of fucking killer, grinding deathrash HC for fans of S.O.B., (late)Rose Rose, Inzest, Sore Throat, Napalm Death, or Carcass. Ultra-fast intense blast beats and awesome metallic guitar riffs/solos. Gibbed had some members of Unholy Grave. Their only release besides the tracks on the "Thrashing Deathpower" comp on Selfish. Released on S.O.B.'s old label called Sound Of Burial Records that also did the S.O.B./Napalm Death split and two other S.O.B. 7"s. Probably the last release of the label.
Griffin "The Phantom Of The Shocker" 7" EP - Realdeal, 1997/89, Clear vinyl, Dist. by MCR, (RDR 07-01) - $15
Ltd reissue of the 1st EP, originally released on Gudon's Kagai-Mousou Records in '89. Early line-up with a Nightmare member! Unlike their later stuff, this EP is from when they still sounded raw and metallic HC. They used to play shows often with the other Osaka bands like S.O.B., Nightmare, Outo, Rapes, and Danse Macabre. 6 tracks incl. "Kick & Blood", "Human Soup, Human Steak, Human Burger", "Go For Block" etc.
HCP(Hard Core Poznan) "Anti Drugs" 7" EP - Resistance Productions/International Hardcore Movement, 1989, Poland, 1000 pressed, Hand #'d poster sleeve, New/Unplayed, (RIP 027) - $20
Fucking killer band!!! Pre-Apatia. Definitely one of my favorite '80s Polish HC records. Ultra-raw, noisy and brutal HC with intensely distorted guitar like early Brazilian or Finnish bands. This should appeal not only to Polish HC fans, but also to those who dig any Scandinavian, Italian, Brazilian and Japanese HC/Crust as well!! Man, this is seriously some powerful ripping shit!! Released on a Swiss label. Unplayed old stock copy of this rare obscure EP.
HDW(Honey Deep Wet!) "Tokyo Auschwitz" 7" flexi - Cage, 1986, Japan, Clear red flexi, (OP-003) - $40
Female fronted '80s anarcho punk from Osaka. HDW was one of the very few political activist bands which was pretty rare to see in the Japanese punk scene back then. Several other well known(in Japan at least) bands with a similar political stance include Real, Theze, A-Musik, and Nué from Tokyo. HDW was highly influenced by the U.K. anarcho punk movement, Crass Records bands, and the singer was in a close contact with Colin from Conflict. However, musically HDW's songs were much more in the punkish vein than those Crass Records or U.K. anarcho punk bands. The title track "Tokyo Auschwitz" is a killer, fast-paced hard punk tune that reminds a bit of The Stalin. Where the chorus part goes "No more Auschwitz!" is so powerful and great. This flexi is actually pretty rare and hard to find even in Japan. Self-released on the band's own Cage Records. Not quite sure of the correct catalog # as the sleeve does say "003", however the flexi shows "001". Two versions of this release exist. The band gave most copies away free without a sleeve, then there's also some mailorder version with a red sleeve which is even rarer. This copy is the one with a sleeve. Another Cage Records release that I know of is this great "Cage Omnibus : No!" comp LP with HDW, No Lip(feat. Roger from SiC/Dead Cops), Real, and MerryGoRound. There's also supposed to be the 2nd HDW flexi out according to an old Cage ad, but I've never seen that one.
Hakuchi "Gods Disturb" 7" EP - Overthrow, 1993, Japan, Insert, (Overthrow-006) - $55
Top-notch dark metallic crust from Niigata. Great EP by this pre-AGE band. One of the eariest Japanese crust bands. Hakuchi also had a split LP with Disclose. This is the harder to find, early release by Overthrow Records.
Homostupids "The Glow" 7" EP - My Mind's Eye, 2006, US, 500 pressed, Orig. 1st press on pink marbled vinyl, New/Unplayed, (MME 003) - $15
Lo-fi primitive hardcore from Cleveland, feat. the singer Steve from 9 Shocks Terror.
Honor Role "1982" 7" EP - No Way, 2007, US, Ltd to 200(1000 total) on grey swirled vinyl w/ sticker, Insert, (NW-05) - $5
Fast, furious hardcore recorded in '82 from Richmond, VA. The stuff here originally appeared on the split tape. Short, fast, snotty hardcore at it's finest. Fans of Necros, Gang Green and White Cross should take note.
Human Despair "Struggle For Existence" 7" EP - Discrete, 1995, Japan, (DIS-011) - $15
Noisy and fast, traditional Japcore with a slight metallic crust touch. If you did "Burning Spirits" style Japcore, check this out. Their 1st EP and it's on Discrete Records, so you know what to expect.
Humpty Dumpty, The "Death To Appearances" 7" EP - Human, 1995, Japan, Clear vinyl, Insert, Bonus large sticker, Dist. by MCR, (Human 3) - $40
Hard to find 1st EP by this long-running, awesome metallic HC band with a Constricted member. One of my favorite '90s~current Japanese bands. Highly influenced by the '80s Scandinavian & U.K. metallic HC. Fucking great EP! Too bad, no so many people know how good this band is.
Iconoclast "Demo//Live" Demo Tape - Icons Of Crust, 1993, Japan, "Ltd 200 Copies" on the sleeve, (ICON-T-01) - $15
Izumo Punks "S/T" 7" flexi - Izumo Punk, 1988, Japan, w/ sticker, New/Unplayed, (Izumo Punk Records-0001) - $28
I bet nobody has ever even heard of them. I myself discovered this great unknown band very recently. According to the band biography printed inside the sleeve, these teenage punks from Izumo city, Shimane prefecture, decided to do the recording just a day after(!!) forming the band on Aug. 30th '88 and release this flexi the following month even before playing the first gig on Oct. 2nd '88. What you get here on this gem is the 100% pure, raw, fast-paced, powerful yet catchy-as-hell, hard drivin' '80s Japanese style punk rock. When you listen to these songs, you can kinda imagine how these young punks with full of energy just wanting to start out something "new" in the shitty country side where there wasn't a big scene, grab the instruments and start screaming the same day they thought of it. What I heard is that these guys were active locally and invited the bigger name bands from the major cities like Lip Cream, Death Side, Tetsu-Arrey, Gudon, S.O.B. to their small town to play the gigs there. I know nothing about the Izumo punk scene except there's one of those old MCR city comp's called "Izumo City HC". The first time I heard this flexi, I just fucking loved it. The silly ass drawings on the cover artwork and bonus sticker too. I was lucky enough to have my friend get in touch with a friend of an ex-band member's and obtained several remaining old stock copies that they tried to get rid of(Took me a while and lots of work during this process though). Once these are gone, they're gone for good.

Kenzi & The Trips "Diana" 7" EP, Více/Crown, 1987, Japan, Insert, (7EC-1) - $3
Kimaira "S/T" 7" EP - Skeleton, 1985, Japan, New/Unplayed, (S.R.-003) - $28
Released on the legendary Osaka based label Skeleton Records that also put out the Coward and Gasmask 7"s. The cover artwork sucks but the music is good ADK influenced, dark, metallic and hard punk with that very '80s Japanese obscure punk feel. The band members look fucking crazy in the photo.
Knucklehead "Mushikera no jikan" 7" EP - HG Fact, 1998, Japan, w/ sticker, New/Unplayed, (HG-103) - $3
Kyoaku-Kyojindan "S/T" 7" flexi - Joker, 1984, Japan, (JRR-00I) - $30

Pure '80s Japanese style straight-forward hard punk rock. The discography CD was recently released by Inundow.
Lovezhe "Crazy Sheet" 7" flexi - Telephon Club, 1987, Japan, Clear red flexi, New/Unplayed, (T.C.R.-001) - $35
This is some really good straight-forward fast Japcore that reminds me a lot of the late '80s Selfish Records stuff especially those fast, in-your-face HC bands like Systematic Death, Outo, Lip Cream, Mad Conflux, Crück etc. Short, fast and furious!! Well worth checking it out. Their only release besides a few tracks on the great late '80s comp tape "Suck My Dick!" with Crow, SDS, Acid, Cruck, Asbestos etc. Another awesome obscure band that almost nobody knows about. Here's a review taken from an old MRR : LOVEZHE - "Crazy" flexi. A two-song, one-sided red flexi that's got thrash with. hooks played with abandon . Fun, though not really. "crazy."
MG 15 "Caos Final" 7" EP - La Vida Es Un Mus/Throne, 2003, Spain, Insert, Label flyers, Out of print, (Mus 07/Chapter 06) - $5
Early Spanish d-beat hardcore. The '83 demo put on vinyl.
Matsuji "Dead Voice" 7" EP - Slice, 1987(?), Japan, (No Cat. #) - $68
This is the super hard to find EP unlike any other Slice Records releases. The music is so fucking brilliant too. 6 tracks of drivin' fast metallic Japcore with some catchy hooks!! Excellent guitar riffs as well. The vocals remind me of Ishiya from Death Side/Forward. The songs on this EP sound so unique that don't quite sound like anybody else. Matsuji sure knew how to create their own music style and did it so damn well(especially how they mixed raging fast Japcore and super catchy parts). If you've heard their awesome tracks on the "Attack Of 4 Tribes" comp LP on Selfish Records, you already know how good this band is. Early release(might be the first) on Poison Arts' old label that also put out the other good records like the flexi's by Poison Arts, Sqwad(ex-Ghoul singer & drummer), "Nobody's Fault" LP(Poison Arts, Nira-Kodomo, Rose Rose etc.), and "Game Of Death" LP(Death Side, Ghoul, Poison Arts, Final Bombs). This EP came out probably in '87 as I remember it was one of the very first HC records I've ordered from the labels back then, however most of the online resources say '85. I know Poison was doing their Slice Gigs from the early '85 but am not quite sure when the label was started.
Mental Disease "Sometimes Like Flowers" LP - MCR, 1999, Japan, 1000 pressed, Insert, New/Unplayed, (MCR-138) - $8
Nausea influenced noisy & metallic Japanese crust-core with great male/female dual vocals! From Nagoya city. Nausea meets Doom!?
New Walls "S/T" 8" flexi - Line, 1984, Japan, New/Unplayed - (Line-002) - $25
Like the harder version of Nickey & The Warriors. Great rockin' hard punk rock with really cool female volcals! Featuring ex-members of Poisonous Cross Gibbet and Headless. The vocal style reminds me of Chitose from The Comes. Rare obscure release on Line Records that also did the Rose Rose 1st flexi, P.C.G. 2nd flexi etc.
Nickey & The Warriors "Dreams" CD - Captain, 1989/87, (CAP-1041-CD) - $20
Much rarer CD version of the 1st LP. Many of the original Captain Records CD's(Lip Cream, Gas etc.) are even harder to find than the LP's. Those were released right before the label disappeared and not so many copies of them were pressed.
Noise Distraction "Agitate Power" 7" flexi - Self, 1990, Japan, New/Unplayed, (ND-001) - $25
Ultra-fast and ripping traditional Japcore with very sharp guitar!! Top-notch release by this amazing, however sadly unknown band. If they've had any releases a few years earlier on Selfish Records, I bet tons of Japcore fans would have been going nuts for them. They put out an LP on Vinyl Japan a little after this flexi as well as a few tracks on an old MCR comp that I can't remember the title of.
Non Fiktion Noiz "¡Contaminación Mundial!" 7" EP - SouthKore, 2004, US, 500 pressed, Insert, (SK 001) - $4
Awesome raging pissed-off hardcore from Chicago, in the vein of Los Crudos and Sin Orden. Brutal shit.
Nubile "S/T" 7" flexi - ADK, 1983, Japan, 1000 pressed, (ADK 04S) - $48
ex-Typhus singer Ken Tanami on vacals. He was the singer on the Typhus "Live Take" demo. Produced, engineered & released by Tam from The Stalin/G-Zet/Typhus/ADK Rec.
Outo "S/T"(Official Discography) LP - Specialized Fact, 1999, Japan, 1000 pressed, Large glossy booklet, (SFAN-003) - $55
Limited release on Specialized Fact, the label ran by some of ex-Outo and S.O.B. members. Comes with a very nicely made, 10" x 10" size glossy booklet with tons of rare old photos, biography and gig flyers by a great Japcore artist Tom. Also a killer sleeve artwork done by him as well. An almost-complete discography of one of the most important bands in the Japanese HC history, contains their '84~88 materials incl. all the 3 EP's, 6 tracks off the "Shoujikimono..." LP, tracks off the "Hardcore Unlawful Assembly", "Thrash Til Death" and "My Meat's Your Poison" comp LP's. Released also on the CD format, but this vinyl edition was limited and sold out fast. Long out of print and hard to find.

Articles/interviews of G.I.S.M., Cobra etc. Lots of cool live photos, artworks and ads for Hold Up, AA, Jisatsu, Skeleton Records, Lip Cream "Kill The IBM" tape, as well as a rare full-page ADK Records ad stating that the Gauze LP is out and the Typhus LP is planned to be released. The back cover has the large live photo of The Stalin.
P.O.W.(Punk On Wave) Vol.2 - Magazine - P.O.W., 1985, Japan, Paperback format, Full-color covers, 113 pages - $65
Edited and published by Sakevi(G.I.S.M.) and Charmy(Laughin' Mose/AA Records). Glossy, full-page color and b&w photos of G.I.S.M., Lip Cream, Cobra, Auto-Mod, The Willard, Chaos UK, Wretched, Disorder etc. The G.I.S.M. part(2 pages) has the killer live pics of Sakevi. The photos, interviews and articles of Gauze, Hanatarash, The Willard, Chaos UK, AA Rec., U.K. HC scene etc. The ads for Ghoul EP/Hold Up/Noise Room, KPP, AA Records, Last Bomb, and tons more cool stuff in this issue. There's even a two full-page odd artwork by Sakevi. Most of the texts are in Japanese, but well worth it for all those nice photos, artworks, rare ads and such. Fucking amazing underground punk mag.
P.O.W.(Performance Of War) Vol.3 - Magazine - P.O.W., 1985, Japan, Paperback format, Full-color covers, 106 pages - $65
Special Sakevi issue. The main concept of this issue is "Death". This ultra-rare, awesome mag was edited and published by Sakevi from G.I.S.M.(Co-edited by John Duncan!!). Lots of insane pics, artworks, interviews and articles about topics like war, death, execution, politics etc. Written in both Japanese and English. Not all of them, but most of the main, interesting contents were translated into English. Glossy, full-page color and b&w photos of Hanatarash, Hijokaidan, Psychic TV etc. Very rare full-page ad for the G.I.S.M. video release with a large live pic of Sakevi, Lip Cream ad, C.O.P. LP/T.P.C. Records ad, Hold Up Records ad, full-page Selfish Records ad etc. Sakevi himself interviewed the following people: John Duncan, Hanatarash, Medical examiners from Tokyo Medical Examiner's Office(Yes, the autopsy/death stuff here. There's actually a pic of Sakevi with the two examiners taken during the interview.), Mental hospital inpatient(No bullshit. Remember, it was done back in '85 and was in Japan...) etc. John also did a few other interviews. Some of the other interesting stuff to read are the How To Kill article and the personal short letter sent to Sakevi by the political prisoner/anarcist members of East Asia Anti-Japanese Armed Front. Very professionally done underground mag with glossy covers. Absolutely amazing contents.

Piekło Kobiet "Pro-Life Is Sacrifice On Altar Of War" 7" EP - Tutaj Teraz, 1997, Poland, (VG+/VG), (TUT 001) - $4
Poison Arts "Kick Rock" 7" flexi - Rockin' F, 1989, Japan, Freebie w/ pocket picture sleeve, (No Cat. #) - $25
Re-recorded version of the killer title track tune from the classic 1st LP on Selfish. Much faster and better than the original version!
Razors Edge "Thrash March" 7" EP - Booz, 1998, Japan, 1000 pressed, Original Japanese press on clear red vinyl w/ red sleeve, (BOOZ-003) - $15
Refuse "Punk Save The World???" 7" EP - Beer City, 2001, Japan, 500 pressed, (Beer City Records-01) - (Trade or Offer)
Gai/early Swankys worshipped, fuzzed-out drunk noisecore. They do a Gai cover song "Little Star" on this EP. The center labels say "Beer Cider Noise!!!!!" This one is better than their "Control Noise" demo tape which kinda sucked in my opinion(although it had a cool Gai rip-off artwork on it...). Includes the 6 raw, primitive and slappy '80s Kyushu noisecore inspired tracks with the titles like "The Fuck Song" or "Noise Never Die!". Self-released on the band's own Beer City label(not the one from the U.S.)
Rinjyu-Zange "Who's The Founder?" 7" EP - Adventure Family/Nouzui, 1988, Japan, Yellow sleeve, (AFR-008) - $25
Fast drivin' Japcore thrash with a slight metallic touch. Comparable to Googol Plex, Chicken Bowels, Brain Death, DonDon, Systematic Death or Mad Conflux. Split release by Adventure Family and DonDon singer's Nouzui Records. Cloudy from Front Guerrilla/GISM is listed on the thanks list. They also had a good split EP with Disclaim.
Rise Above "Beat It" 7" EP - Punk Etc, 1989, Belgium, Insert, (PETC 19) - $5
Early '80s U.S. style fast and tight sXe hardcore. Released on the well known Punk Etc Records.
Rosenfeld "Pigs Of The Empire" CD - Skull Crusher, 1991, Japan, Original, Ltd 1st press w/ extra full-color sticker sleeve, (SCR-0001) - $58
Original press on the band's own Skull Crusher Records, not the later Toy's Factory label re-issue(re-mixed version). Different sound, layouts, logos and has more photos in a booklet than the re-issue. Super-rare, classic album by one of the best Japanese thrash metal bands ever.
SS-20 "I Never Change The Life" 7" EP - Self, 1993, Japan, 300 pressed, New/Unplayed, (No Cat. #) - $40
Yes, this is SS-20 from Japan, not those other bands with the same name from Mexico, Poland, Italy or France. They've existed from '87 and probably broke up not too long after this release which is the only record they've ever done as far as I know. Awesome solid sounding Japanese hard punk in the vein of The Stalin("Stop Jap" era), with a bit of ADK touch. Sounds very similar to The Stalin, actually. The songs are pretty catchy yet hard and strong. The chorus parts on the song like "Kill or Killed" and the title track are so damn good! The guitar riffs sound so shorp. Fucking brilliant. I love this style. Man, it was released in the early '90s but all the songs totally sound like if they were from the mid '80s. Could easily be on ADK or City Rocker Records if this came out back then. This 7" was self-released by the band themselves and sold only at their shows and an old shop in Kanagawa that one of the band members worked at. That makes it nearly impossible to find after 16 years of its release. Some copies came with a tiny release show flyer says "This EP is our final warning. Strictly limited to 300 copies only, sold at our future shows & mailorder. No repress!"(in Japanese).
Sabotaasi "Kulissit" One-sided 7" EP - Kahlenukke, 1987, Finland, 200 pressed, Insert, (Reaktio-3) - $25
Traditional Finnish HC, recorded in '86. Some of the members went onto form Juggling Jugulars. Only 200 copies of this 1st EP were pressed. 500 each of the later EP's, I believe. http://cheerspunx87.ld.infoseek.co.jp/SABOTAASI(MAIN).html This EP was recently sold on ebay for $78... ouch.
Samé "Cyborg-Keikaku" 7" EP - Premium, 1988, Japan, (No Cat. #) - $65
Ultra-rare and unknown 7" on Ikka-Shinju's Premium Records. Very obscure one here. 6 tracks of fucking killer metallic Japcore!! As far as I know, it's the only non Ikka-Shinju release done by their label. The band's only ever release besides the "I'll Gather Up" comp tracks. Full-color, wicked sleeve artwork. Note: The band name is supposed to be read in the Japanese way "Sāmé"(Shark) not like the English word "Same".
Septic Death "Kichigai" 7" EP - Pusmort, 1988, US, Large band sticker & small Pushead sticker(some copies came w/ stickers, not all), Lyric insert & Pusmort mailorder insert, w/ orig. shrinkwrap, (Pusmort 007-03) - $25

Classic 3rd 7" with their most well-known song "Romantist"(a.k.a. "Romanchisto" or "Romanticist"). Includes a B-side track that's not on the LP's. The coolest live photo of Michiro on the front cover.
Stalin, The "Allergy/No Fun" 7" - Climax/Tokuma, 1982, Japan, (CMA-2033) - $30
The killer classic tunes on this EP. Includes a B-side track that's not on the LP's.
Stalin, The "Mushi" Picture LP - Climax/Tokuma, 1983, Japan, 1st press on pic. disc w/ die-cut sleeve, Obi, (CMC-2512) - $40
Stalin, The "Fish Inn" LP - B.Q., 1984, Japan, Original, Insert, (BQL-1) - $30
This is the original pressing on Michiro's B.Q. label. The '86 reissue on J.A.P./Japan Records is the remix version with extra guitars, bass and keyboard added by Bill Laswell, Sonny Sharrock etc. This B.Q. original recording and the remix version sound very different. The "Fish Inn" remix LP is the very first Japanese record Bill Laswell has ever produced. He's an well-known producer who has also worked with Motorhead, Ramones, Iggy Pop, P.I.L., Bob Marley, Mick Jaguar, Yoko Ono, Ryuichi Sakamoto etc. I personally enjoy listening to both versions, however most of the Japanese fans say that the additional instruments and over-remix work ruined the original sound. Also, the B.Q. issue has a completely different sleeve artwork than the reissue. Only the ltd mailorder copies came with the flexi and that one is a bit harder to come by.
Stalin, The "Stalinism" 12" - Independent, 1987, Japan, Insert, Dist. by B.Q. Records, (Independent 009ML) - $40
Official collection of their early classics. Compiles the "Dendou-Kokeshi" 1st flexi(Political, 1980), "Stalinism" EP(Political, '81), "Vacuum" mailorder-only bonus flexi for the "Fish Inn" LP(B.Q., '84), "Chicken Farm Chicken" off the "Welcome To 1984" comp LP(MRR, '84).
Note: There's a scratch that doesn't affect playing.
(Stalin, The) Ing,o! No.4 - Zine & The Stalin 7" flexi - Political Project, 1984, Japan, A4 size, 31 pages, (ING-004) - $88
Mega-rare infamous zine published by The Stalin singer Michiro Endo and his Political Project(Records). Complete with the "Dendou Kokeshi/Tempura Rock" flexi!!! The flexi has a picture sleeve insert. This is "The Stalin Special" issue w/ photos, centerfold poster, interview, "Vietnam Legend" full-page ad, MRR reprint etc. Very rare to find The Stalin photo(centerfold poster) with their early '84 line-up incl. Michiro, Jun Bleed(The Willard), Teruya Ogata and Jun Inui. Perhaps this is the only one ever appeared in the zines. A4 large size, thick pages.
Star Club, The "Anoko ni hitomebore" 7" flexi - Club The Star, 1984, Japan, Gig freebie, (The Star Club No.7/CSR 005) - $40
Mega-rare gig freebie-only flexi! One of the hardest to find and most sought-after S.C. releases of all. Contains a killer, fast and hard drivin' punk title track tune which was actually the very first song that was ever written by them right after the band was formed, however has never been officially recorded until 1984(Except the live version of this song appeared on the "Go To Hell" acetate 7" that they've pressed less than 5 copies in 1977.) Although this studio track isn't available on any of their other records, it's one of the most well known and loved S.C. tunes to their older fans. The flexi was given away free to fans only at one show at Loft in 1984(Says "Not For Sale" printed on it.) Some online resources say that it was the first flexi to be given away through their "Cosa Nostra" fan club(existed '85~'90), but that's wrong.
State "No Illusions" 7" EP - Reagan Era HC, 2001, US, Insert - $4 Originally self-released on Statement Records in '83.
Still "Real Time" 7" EP - Strawberry, 1985, Japan, Photo card insert, Clear PVC sleeve, New/Unplayed, (P-2006) - $10
Produced by Tsunematsu Masatoshi from Friction and E.D.P.S. Melodic darkwave with good female vocals. Featuring a Jagatara member. Reminds me of the British 4AD stuff. The singer was also a guest member for Tsunematsu's solo LP.
Suicide "S/T" 7" flexi - Bizarre, 1984, Japan, Insert, Clear red flexi, (No Cat. #) - $35
Produced by Atsushi Kaneko from The Stalin. Self-released 1st flexi. I thought their 2nd EP "Warning For The World Punks" is very good but this flexi is even much better. Like an old zine review says, I can definitely hear The Stalin influence and the song "Heroes(Your Dirty Face)" sounds like one of the songs on The Stalin's "Stop Jap" LP!! Really good stuff. Very mid '80s Japanese punk sounding release.
Suicide "Celebration" 7" EP - Captain, 1985, Japan, (CAP-0003-E) - $18
Swankys, The "Never Can Eat Swank Dinner" LP - King's World, 1987, Japan, (K.K. 001LPS) - $40

Swankys, The "Best Of Lifestyle" 12" - King's World, 1989, Japan, 1000 pressed, Clear vinyl, Clear PVC sleeve, (KK 008) - $78
Contains the 3 tracks from the "This Is My Lifestyle" 1st EP('85, KPP Rec.) on Side A and the 3 tracks by Gai on Side B. All the songs are in their early noisy HC punk style. This is probably the second hardest to find Swankys/Gai records of all. Rarely seen for sale outside of Japan.
Sweats "Open The Sky Go The Wisdom" LP - Verticore, 1993, Japan, Gatefold sleeve, (NALP-05) - $25
The same band that's on the "Smashing Oddsness" comp LP with Bastard, Asbestos, DonDon etc. The Hawkwind influenced, ultra-obscure Japanese psychedelic band featuring the ex and future members of Rocky & The Sweden, Systematic Death, Idora, Headless etc. Sweats used to play traditional fast Japcore in the late '80s. This is actually a very rare and hard to find LP.
Systematic Death "Flashback" 7" EP - Selfish, 1986, Japan, Complete w/ oversized outer sleeve(yellow ver.), (AMI-7006) - (Trade or Offer)
Complete copy with both sleeves! Comes with an extra printed outer sleeve that's often missing. This is my only copy from the personal collection.
305, The(The Three-O-Five) "S/T" 8" flexi - Beat Time, 1984, Japan, New/Unplayed, (A-305) - $15
Catchy, melodic and fun punk rock with sharp and trashy rockin' guitar riffs. Some of the members went onto form The Pogo and Kenzi.

Warhead "Cry Of Truth" 7" EP - Self, 1991, Japan, Poster sleeve, Insert, ((A)-001) - $58
Super-rare original 1st press, self-released by the band. 3 different pressings of this classic 7" exist and they all have different sleeves, layouts, color of the vinyls etc. Only this original issue came in a folded poster style sleeve with an insert. As for the reissues, the 2nd press came out in Germany on Amok Records in '91 and the 3rd press came out sometime in the late '90s~early '00s, on Devour Rec.
Warhead "The Lost Self and Beating Heart" 7" EP - Blood Sucker, 1996, Japan, (BSR-017) - $35
Wart "Shusou-Danji" CD - Hardcore Kitchen, 2008, Japan, Obi, Japanese import, (HxCxK-017) - $8
Raging thrash HC punk with lots of sing-a-long catchy parts/choruses that reminds me a bit of Tomorrow but with more traditional straight-forward Japcore feel. The entire lyrics are in Japanese. Includes an awesome Japanese cover of Chaos UK's "No Security". 13 tracks in total. Great and unique band. Short, fast and loud!
White Hell "Lucifer/Nuclear" 7" EP - Self, 1985, Japan, (Pr-8503) - (Trade or Serious Offer Only)
Willard, The "Will" Picture 12" - Captain, 1986, Japan, Clear PVC sleeve, (CAP-0036P) - $10
Original Captain Records pressing. This is the pic. 12" issue of their '85 gig freebie flexi, with an extra track added. Also, two of the songs(3 Years & D-Day or Lost Day) on this 12" originally appeared on the rare "L.C.D.D."(La Caduta Degli Dei) 1st flexi from '83. Totally killer fast and hard-hitting punk tunes. The 1st flexi was produced by Michiro(The Stalin) and came with his infamous "Ing,o!" zine. The Willard was formed in '82 and broke up once in '83, then the singer Jun joined The Stalin as a guitarist and the drummer played in The Execute, until they were reformed in '84. Wolf "S/T" LP - Captagon Plugging, 1987, Japan, Insert, Orig. logo sticker on sleeve, (CPLG-1001) - $48
Very rare 1st LP by this legendary Japanese metal band. Great traditional '80s Japanese metal for fans of Hellen, Jewel, Terra Rosa, Sniper, Hurry Scuary, Breeze Least etc.
Z "Violence Action" 7" flexi - Self, 1986, Japan, 500 pressed, Clear red flexi, New/Unplayed, (Z Record-02) - $68
Intensely raw, primitive and chaotic noise-core, but more in the vein of early Gudon, Tranquilizer or State Children than those traditional Kyushu noise-core bands. The 3" spiked studded leather masks, teenage fucked -up noisy HC craziness from the country side of Japan 23 years back... You know the drill. The band name is pronounced "Zétto" in Japanese.
