These were the limited promo/freebie zines given away to those who pre-ordered the "AA Records, We're Back!" series reissue CD's in 1991. Doesn't actually say "AA Records Book" anywhere on it but I remember that's what it was called in the old Doll magazine ad and the zine originally in a sealed bag with a little sticker on it which had "AA Records Book" printed on it. Contains mostly the reprints from the first issue of "P.O.W." and just a few rare early AA Records ads.
AA Records Book #2 - Zine - AA/Pony Canyon, 1991, Japan, Full-color covers, Pro-printed, (No. Cat #) - $22
This second one is much nicer than the other one because it has more AA Records ad reprints besides the reprinted pages from the second issue of "P.O.W."

Aka (赤) "Gisouai"(偽想愛) 7" flexi - Jisatsu, 1984, Japan, 1500 pressed, (GL-006ES) - $30
Another total ADK Records and The Stalin
worship from the mid '80s. Produced by Zombie, the bassist from Gas.
Released on Gas' Jisatsu Label which tried to focus on putting out the
records by the lesser known bands from the non-major cities at that
time, such as this band, Nikudan, Ziga, The Sexual, Confuse on the
Jisatsu Omnibus. Don't miss this great flexi out if you dig this
particular style of '80s Japanese bands like Kikeiji, Aburadako,
Masturbation, The Stalin, Sekinin-Tenka, The Sadist, Shoujo-Ningyo etc.
"Aka" is a Japanese word for "red".
Note: The flexi has a dent that does not affect playing at all.

Chu-Doku (Chu 毒) "S/T" 7" flexi - Museum/Blue Complex, 1985, Japan, (BM 87301) - $45
Obscure all-girl punk band from Chiba, sounds similar to early Nurse, Kyaah or the female vox-era Typhus. Their later stuff sounds more different and poppier, but this 1st flexi is a killer. Released on the same Chiba-city based label that also put out the Kyojinbyo flexi and EP. Rare.
Cobra "Never Give Up" VHS - Public Red, 1989, Japan, Ltd. to 555 copies, (PR-0001) - $25

C.O.S.A. (Cache Of Strategic Arms) (pre-Effigy/Reality Crisis) "Strategic" 7" EP - Self, 199?, Japan, Insert, (LM-2704) - $25
This EP was actually self released by the band and MCR just did a distribution. No actual MCR catalog number stated anywhere on this release and also it's not listed on the label discography page either. Effigy started under the name of C.O.S.A.(Cache Of Strategic Arms) with some later Reality Crisis members as well. Dark, metallic, and raging Japanese style crustcore. Awesome 6-track EP. Some of the songs are from their demos. Pretty hard to come by these days. The ex-C.O.S.A. and Effigy guys now play in a new band called Axewield.

Freedom "Last Revolution" 7" EP - AA, 1984, Japan, 1000 pressed, Poster sleeve, (AA-005) - $55
Freedom is definitely one of the most overlooked Japcore bands from this era. Criminally underrated in my opinion. Has possibly the shittiest and the worst front sleeve artwork I've ever seen. If just see the front sleeve and have never heard their music, you wouldn't wanna buy it. Inside the poster sleeve there are many band photos that's pretty enjoyable to look at. Musically, it's totally in the vein of Zouo, Mobs, Ghoul, GISM, Rapes, A.T.-Det, The Clay, The Execute, Geizz, Demolition etc. You get the idea. Dark, solid and metallic Japcore with that violent gruff vocal style ala Sakevi or Cherry. Really good and heavy shit! Includes 4 tracks, Suicide, Last Revolution, Shit Babies and Freedom System. The guitarist Belley also played in War Painted City Indian, Laughin' Nose and might also have been in Mohawks at some point. The only ever Freedom release and it's on AA Records. This EP is somewhat harder to come by, compared to some of the other early AA releases.

Ghoul "Carry Out Fucking" 7" EP - Hold Up/Noise Room, 1984, Japan, Poster sleeve, Photo booklet insert, (No Cat. #) - $75
The classic 1st EP by this legendary Japcore band. A very little known fact that the actual guitarist on this recording was Tatsu who played in Gastunk, Dead Cops, LSD, Gas, Nurse etc., although Max is credited as a guitarist. No catalog number stated anywhere on this release, but it should be "NRR-E002".
Ghoul "Oi! Oi!" 7" flexi - Hold Up/Noise Room, 1985, Japan, 2nd press, (NRR-E008) - $28
There are two different pressings with different types of the sleeve for this flexi exist. The original version has the folded sleeve with a back flap and the label infos etc printed on it. The sleeve for the later pressing is just one sheet without a backflap and it doesn't say Hold Up or Noise Room Records anywhere. The design and the sleeve itself is the same as the earlier version.
Additional note: This was originally recorded for the "ADK Omnibus" Vol.3 that was never released. Sometime in '84 or '85, ADK Records planned to release this compilation among a few other records like the Hiryu(ex-Masturbation) solo 7", the Par's(ex-Kikeiji) 7" and another one that I can't remember right now. Unfortunately ADK was gone for good before any of them were released.
(Ghoul) Masami "Final Days" 7" EP - T.P.C.(Tokyo Punks Club), 1986, Japan, (TPC-1102) - $25
This is a completely overlooked, 4-track EP that the Ghoul frontman Masami put out as his solo project not too long after the original Ghoul broke up. Released on T.P.C. Records in '86. What a fucking ridiculously cheesy name for the record label, yes. For those who aren't familiar with T.P.C., it was the label ran by the legendary, Harajuku-based punk shop Jims Inn. Sakevi's Beast Arts initially started out as part(sub-label?) of T.P.C.(they shared the contact address), and until the actual label name Beast Arts was established, the G.I.S.M. "M.A.N." LP was advertised as a forthcoming T.P.C. Records release in the magazine ads. Back to the Masami EP, it was originally planned to be released under the band name of Masami & the Bad Lots, which was one of his other bands at that time. The guest recording members for this release include Tetsu(The Comes, ex-Ghoul), Yamagami(C.O.P., ex-Gas), Norio(Masami & the Bad Lots, ex-Gas) and Tatsuya(Masami & the Bad Lots, ex-Gas). Norio was a member of the late Gas and also played the guitars on half of the songs of the awesome "Power Line x Shock Line" LP by Masami that came out a year after on S.E.X./Sunshine Sherbet Records. Naoki from Lip Cream played the guitars on all the Side-A tracks for that album. The music wise, Masami's solo and the Bad Lots stuff is a bit more in the melodic vein and have some excellent catchy hooks, but still with that typical Masami/Ghoul style gruff vocals that definitely add uniqueness to their songs. Includes 4 hard and rockin' punk tunes like "Motherfucker", "Merry Making", "Idoler" and "Random". The track "Motherfucker" is actually a re-recorded Bad Lots version of the ultra-classic punk anthem "Oi! Oi!", originally played by Ghoul!! "Merry Making" is such a killer, speedy punk tune that's my favorite from this EP. The limited edition, picture CD reissue of this EP was later done by OK Records in '99, but that one seems to be harder to find than the original vinyl. OK was a label ran by Hiroshima(ex-G.I.S.M., Kikeiji, R.U.G. etc.), known mainly for their quality official CD reissues of the ADK Records and related releases.

Japanese release. Compiles their three early demos from '87 and '88, incl. "War Is Big Business" 1st demo, plus the tracks recorded live in Italy '89.
Dooms Day "Nowhere To Run" 7" flexi - For The Deaf, 1989, Japan, Clear red flexi, (FDE-001) - $45
Dooms Day!! This is a fantastic 7-track flexi. They were from either Shizuoka or Gunma prefecture and sound similar to many of the classic '80s Shizuoka city Japcore bands like So What, Deadless Muss, Innocents, Mental, Griffin FZ, Rustler, Zamza etc. Kind of like a more rough and simple version of Lip Cream. Dooms Days appeared on various compilation records and tapes from the late '80s to early '90s. Some of their tracks on those comps are as good as this flexi, while some are not. The tracks included on this flexi are probably some of their best works. Released on a small label from the Gunma area(later relocated to Tokyo) called For The Deaf Records. It's one of only three releases ever done by the label. The other two are the "Corruption" comp LP(w/ Deadless Muss, So What, Jyuden-Souchi etc.) and the "Intensive Care Unit" comp LP(w/ Dischord, Violent Mohawks, Gilmore etc.) Both these comps featured Dooms Day and some bands from Shizuoka, as well as the surrounding countryside of Japan like Yamanashi, Nagano and Gunma pref. The "Corruption" LP pops up for sale very occasionally, but the other LP and the Dooms Day flexi are even harder to find.

Down By Law "Anti ..." 7" EP - Voice Of A Generation, 1991, Japan, Mini insert, (Voice Of A Generation 002) - $30
Alright, this is Down By Law from Japan, not the boring ass Epitaph band from the U.S. with the same name. Almost nobody knows about this band, but this EP rips hard as hell. Fast and heavy, straight-forward Japcore with great noisy guitar!! Great cover artwork, too. Could easily be on Selfish Records if it came out a few years earlier. Some of their songs remind me of Outo. Down By Law existed from the late '80s to early '90s. As far as I know, this is their only ever vinyl release by them.

Eggs "O.K. Now" 7" flexi - Scramble, 1987, Japan, (SR-001) - $35
Masaaki
Koba from Systematic Death, Bastard and Rocky & The Sweden was
doing this band at the same time he was in Systema. High-tension
melodic punk rock. There used to be many bands in this style,
which they used to be called "beat punk", in Japan back in the mid
to late '80s. I remember Eggs were often listed in the Antiknock
club schedule, playing gigs with many of the late '80s Kings World
Records bands whenever they came to play in Tokyo, especially with
The Spunky Boys, a really cool Kyushu punk band that I like a lot.
This self-released flexi is really tough to ome by, and is the
only record they've done but also appeared on the "Beat Up!" comp
LP Vol.2 or 3(w/ The Spunky Boys etc.), which I believe was put
out by the Antiknock related label.

Execute, The "Criminal Flowers" 7" EP - 1984, Hit
Parade, Japan, Orig. 1st press w/ insert & different back
sleeve, (HIT 1) - $75
It's not very well known fact that there are two different version of this classic EP exist. The original first pressings come with a 6" x 6" size insert, which has a track listing, thanks list and some kinda monster looking dude design printed on it. It's a black insert. Also, the back side of the sleeve has a drawing of the three faces just like the second press copies do, but with no track list or anything else. The later, second pressings(which seem to be more common) do NOT come with an isnert, but instead the track list and the thanks list are printed on the back sleeve around the three-face drawing, and also says "play maximum volume" on it.
Execute, The "The Antagonistic Shadow" LP - Selfish/13 Grave/XXX, 1988, Japan, Printed inner-bag sleeve, (BEL-12001/Grave-3301/XXX-12001) - $45
Fairfuck "S/T" 7" EP - Kick N' Punch, 1999, Norway, Logo stickered sleeve, Insert, mini poster & stamped inner sleeve, (KNP 01) - $5
Kick ass Norwegian hardcore. This 7" was later reissued by Underestimated Records in the U.S., with a different photo on the front sleeve, but this one is the original pressing and is the first release by the now defunct label Kick N' Punch Records from Denmark.

Gaizi (害児) "Gakon-Fumetsu"(My Immortal Soul) 7" EP - Self, 1997, Japan, 500 pressed, (No Cat. #) - $45
Killer traditional Japcore with a Burning Spirits taste. Definitely one of the better bands in this style from the mid '90s. For fans of Judgement, Bastard, Tetsu-Arrey, Death Side, Forward, Crude, Warhead, Nightmare etc. This EP almost never pops up for sale for some reason. Gaizi also had a split EP with Gaki and that one is also kinda hard to come by.

Gastunk "Mr. Gazime" 7" EP - Love, 1985, Japan, Insert, (SEX69-1) - $20
Gauze "Equalizing Distort" LP - Selfish, 1986, Japan, Original, Insert, (BEL-12002) - $80
Genoa "We Got A Bomb"(Thrash Live In Savegery Special) 7" flexi - Strange, 1990, (TLIS-01) - $8
Gloom "Mentally Achronistic 2000" 7" EP - MCR Company/Crust War, 2000, Japan, 2100 pressed, (MCR-152) - $35
Griffin "The Phantom Of The Shocker" 7" EP - Kagai Mousou, 1988, Japan, Orig. 1st press on black vinyl w/ insert, (Kagai Mousou 011E) - $38
Rare original pressing on Gudon's Kagai Mousou Records. It's their 1st EP from when they were still playing dark and metallic HC. Early lineup with Osamoon from Nightmare. Griffin's early stuff sounds completely different from their later punk rock style. Back then they were playing gigs with the other local bands from Osaka like S.O.B., Outo, Nightmare, Rapes, Danse Macabre etc.
Griffin FZ "Retaliation"(a.k.a. "Stain Pollution") 7" flexi - Self, 1989, Japan, (Otoko-001) - $40
Pre-Zone!! Obscure Shizuoka-city Japcore band. This flexi is extremely rare and hard to come by. The only ever release by them besides a great '87 split demo with Exdead. Heavy-hitting, speedy and metallic Japcore in the tradition of those other great '80s Shizuoka-city bands ala Deadless Muss, So What, Rustler, Innocents, Mental etc. Completely unknown, but an awesome band!

Only 500 copies were pressed and sold in Japan. This is the limited version of 200 copies on blue vinyl. Comes in a nice, heavy gatefold sleeve.

Insect Powder "Rip Van Win-Kle" 7" flexi - Chicken Shit, 1985, Japan, (New/Unplayed), (CS-3) - $25
Greeeeeaaaaaat!! Another fine obscure band from Sendai city, where a whole bunch of good bands were from. Seriously, the '80s Sendai scene had tons of notable bands like Disarray, Sekinin Tenka, Rebel, Bitousha, Idiot Idolaters, G-Spot, Lance Lot, Dead Person, The Vomits, Under Beans, Tiffany's, Sex Crime etc. An unplayed, mint stock copy of this obscure release on Disarray's label, Chicken Shit Records. Speedy, tight and metallic Japcore with gruff vocals and really awesome drivin' guitar that stands out. Their songs also got some very catchy hooks as well. Totally original style of HC. Don't be fooled by the silly band name and title, coz the music is great.
Judgement "Just Be..." CD - HG Fact, 2000, Japan, (HG-127) - $20
Long out of print, original Japanese edition on CD format. This one is pretty hard to find these days. Not very cheap in Japan either.
Jyuden Souchi (充電装置) "Dead Line" 7" flexi - Half Alive, 1985, Japan, (HAR-003) - (Trade or Offer)
Kikieiji (奇形児) "Plastic Scandal" 7" EP - ADK, 1983, 1000 pressed, Printed glossy inner-bag sleeve & insert, (ADK-06E) - $85
Produced, engineered and released by Tam(ADK Records, The Stalin, Typhus, G-Zet/Bradbury etc.) Very rare and awesome 2nd EP by this legendary ADK band from Tokyo. All four songs in different styles with totally unique lyrics. Man, I love all the their releases. Such a great band. Kikeiji featured the members from some other great bands like Aburadako, G.I.S.M., Masturbation, Sister Ray, Psychi etc.

Kikeiji (奇形児) "Hello-Good Bye" 7" EP - Ducasse, 1985, Japan, Insert, (ID-002) - $28
The last and great EP by this classic ADK punk band. The band members include Hiroshima(G.I.S.M./R.U.G.), Yasu(Sister Ray/Psychi), Tatsushi(Masturbation/Baws) and Hiroshi(Masturbation/Transformer). The weird ass liner-notes written by Sakevi(G.I.S.M.) on insert. This label Ducasse Records later became S.E.X./Sunshine Sherbet Records.

Kriminela 83 "S/T" 7" EP - Pogo 77, 1997, Japan, 2 x insert, (POGO 4) - $35
Although unknown, Kriminela 83 was one of the first Japanese bands playing the Scandinavian inspired HC/crust in the '90s, among other more well known ones like Frigora, Life, Framtid, Crocodile Skink etc. Like the Dislike 7" on the same label, a few of the early Pogo 77 releases are pretty hard to come by these days.
Kuro (白) "Revival Of Death" 7" EP - Kings World, 1996, Japan, 666 pressed, (KWAP-001) - $38
Contains the 4 killer tracks exclusive to this release, incl. the previously unreleased songs "Black Empire" and "Hell Dive" plus the re-recorded studio and live version of their classic tune "No More No". These tracks sound so damn aggressive and violent, the way Kuro should be!! Recorded in 1996 when they got back together for a short period. There was a plan on releasing the album but it never happened. This EP is much better than the "Fire" EP in my opinion. One-time only limited pressing of 666 copies. Top-notch release by these Japanese HC legends!!!
Kyoaku-Kyojindan (恐悪狂人団) "Catastrophe" 7" EP - Climax, 1989, Japan, (MAX-4102) - $25
L.O.X. (Lip Cream, Orange & X) "Shake Hand" CD - S.E.X./Sunshine Sherbet, 1990, Japan, (SS-006) - $25
"L.O.X." stands for Lip Cream, Orange, and X. The project band by Naoki(Lip Cream), Act(Orange) and Yoshiki(X, the legendary metal band). Act also played a bass for Axe-Bomber in the early '80s and S.K.V.(Sakevi solo project) in '95. Orange was a punk rock band from Tokyo that I don't know much about. Originally called Masami & L.O.X., with the ex-Ghoul singer on vocals. Their '88 live recording with him is included on the rare Masami 3CD & 7" box set on Sunshine Sherbet. He obviously hasn't done anything else with L.O.X. afterwards as he was in a coma since '89 til his death in '92. L.O.X. was such an unique project that featured several different Japcore singers doing vocals for them both live and studio. There's a kick-ass boot live video with Tokurow(Bastard/Judgement) singing for them exists(search "LOX Yoshiki" on Youtube). On this 7-track album, the each song has a different singer(except Toshi on the 2 songs). The main vocalists are Ishiya(Death Side), Butaman(Tetsu-Arrey), Toshi(X), Ranko(The Continental Kids), Koh Ito(Fools) and even Naoki sings on an entire song! Yes, Naoki from Lip Cream doing vocals & guitars. Mix of wide variety of music style from hardcore, punk, metal, thrash to rock'n'roll. It's the only ever release(besides that weird track on the Masami/Ghoul tribute CD) by them and is on a great label S.E.X./Sunshine Sherbet that also put out the Tetsu-Arrey 1st LP/CD, Masami solo LP, The Gaia 1st CD, Nickey & The Warriors 12", The Continental Kids LP's etc. Here's some more useless(?) infos for few obsessive collectors out there. This label was ran by the same dude from Ducasse Label(Kikeiji, Real EP's etc.) and Wechselbalg Records, who also runs I.D.N.(Inner Directs/I.D. Japan) which is a large distributor that has a HUGE tie to Sakevi, and exclusively distributes the G.I.S.M./Beast Arts releases. If you're bored, take a look the credits on your Beast Arts, Ducasse or OK Records stuff.
L.S.D. "Destroy" 7" flexi - ADK, 1983, Japan, 2nd press w/ different sleeve artwork, (ADK-07S) - $85 (Sold)
Last Bomb "S/T"
12" - Selfish, 1987, Japan, Insert, (EX-/VG-), (BEL-12022) - $35
The first and the only 12" release by this long-running Tokyo-based HC band featuring Bear Bomb(ex-Ghoul) on bass and Cloudy(ex-G.I.S.M.) on guitar. Recorded with the second singer Bondage on vocals. Last Bomb's original singer was Loony(ex-Mohawks & Baws) and the original drummer was Misa(ex-Rap & Geizz, later played in Final Bombs). The band changed the name to Final Bombs in the late '80s, with Bear Bomb on vocals and bass, and their music turned into more metal-era Discharge style.
Note: The sleeve is not in a great shape, with visible creases and the top left corner is wear out. The vinyl looks ok.
Laughin' Nose "Take Your Situation" Picture 7" flexi - AA, 1985, Japan, Promo-only/freebie, (AA-015) - $35
Rare, promo-only flexi that was given away free to their fans at one of their shows in Tokyo in '85. This particular version of the song can't be found elsewhere. This one looks pretty cool. A clear flexi disc glued on to a thick, full-color square shaped cardboard, made similar to those old bonus flexi discs that came with a cereal box around the '70s. If you've seen the Metal Skull picture flexi, that's basically the same thing except that one looks nicer.
Laughin' Nose "Broken Generation/Mistake Night" 7" EP - VAP, 1985, Japan, (10212-07) - $10
Includes two catchy and fast-paced punk tunes. Both songs are very cool and catchy as hell. The B-side track "Mistake Night" is a re-recorded version of the title track off the "Pussy For Sale" LP('84) on the band's own label, AA Records.

This is the rare original Captain Records pressing, not the recent reissue CD. Most of the CD releases on Captain Records(like this one, the Gas "Reincarnation" CD, The Willard CD etc.) are much harder to find than the original LP's, as the label didn't press so many copies of their later CD or vinyl releases right before the end of the label around 1990 or so. Just a few additional infos about this label, since not much is known about them outside of Japan: Their LP releases have been repressed so many times and tons of copies of most of the LP's were made during 1985~1988. Captain was definitely the independent punk label, however was quite big like, let's say, the almost-major label like Epitaph. The label was part of the magazine publisher called JICC that was making this great monthly sub-culture magazine called "Takarajima"(Treasure Island) which was one of the very few "major" mags(among others like Doll or Fool's Mate) featuring a lot of the underground punk/hc/wave bands back in the '80s(later turned into the porn mag in the '90s...) For those who might or might not care, the sarcastic joke lyrics for The Swankys song "ノーギャラ"(a.k.a. "Pop Rocker", a killer tune by the way) is about Captain Rec./Takarajima, and one line goes: "Senzuri magazine, Takarajima~~~♪♪!!"(The wankin' magazine, Takarajima~~~♪♪!!) Yes, some bands and fans thought the bands on Captain are "sell out". The funny thing is that this Swankys song is on the obscure Kyushu punk comp LP called "In The Panties" which was released on..... Captain Records!

Matsuji (まつじ) "Dead Voice" 7" EP - Slice, 1988, Japan, (No Cat. #) - $65
This is the super hard to find EP unlike any other releases put out by Slice Records(Poison Arts' old label). This one and the Poison Arts flexi are the first releases of the label. They came out on the same day. This EP almost never pops up for sale. Even in Japan this is rarely seen. Matsuji's music is so fucking brilliant and the sleeve design is pretty cool too. 6 tracks of drivin' fast metallic Japcore with some catchy hooks!! Plus, the excellent guitar riffs as well. The thick vocals remind me of Ishiya from Death Side/Forward. The songs on this EP are very original and don't quite sound like anybody else. Matsuji sure knew how to create their own music style and did it so damn well, especially how they mixed raging fast and aggressive as hell Japcore and super catchy parts. If you've heard their awesome tracks on the "Attack Of 4 Tribes" comp LP on Selfish Records, you already know how great this band is. Slice Records also put out a few more good records like the Poison Arts flexi, Sqwad(ex-Ghoul) flexi, Clod EP, "Nobody's Fault" LP(Poison Arts, Nira-Kodomo, Rose Rose etc.) and "Game Of Death" LP(Death Side, Ghoul, Poison Arts, Final Bombs). I like all the Slice releases. Just an additional note... This EP came out in '88, however, many of the online resource sites say '85. I know that Poison started their "Slice Gigs" in '85, but the label was established a few years later. I remember seeing the first Slice label ad in the Doll mag and ordering both Matsuji and Poison Arts records in the late '80s. Check out this blog for a good review: http://www.fightagainsttheplutocrats.blogspot.com/2006/06/matsuji-dead-voice-7inch85-rare-japan.html Also if anyone's interested, here you can see the full Slice Records discography: http://www.geocities.co.jp/radiodaze76/inds0slice.htm
Mess "Get Into A Mess" 7" flexi - Kings World, 1986, Japan, w/ KWR label flyer, (K.K 002MA) - $25
Unlike many other Kyushu based bands from the mid '80s played noisecore and more chaotic sounding HC, Mess(in their early days) played some really good, rough and straight-forward, in-your-face HC that reminds me of the "Fuck Heads" era, early Gauze. That's what they sound like on this 1st flexi. They later moved to Tokyo in the late '80s and put out the 8" EP and also appeared on the "Get Back The Discharged Arrow" comp LP(w/ Acid, Crück & Mad Conflux) on Selfish Records in '89. Can't remember what they sounded like on those two releases but I think they were in more like typical, traditional Japcore style. They later changed their music style and released the full-length CD on Selfish Records in '91 and the LP on Bloodsucker Records in '99. Those two are in a quite different style than their earlier releases. This band is probably more known for the 8" EP and the comp LP tracks, but I think this flexi is much better. All the songs on this flexi are speedy and somewhat primitive, yet powerful. It's an early Kings World Records release and this particular copy comes with a rare, original Kings World flyer advertising The Swankys flexi, Confuse "Contempt..." EP, "Punk The World" tape etc. Never seen another copy of the Mess flexi with a flyer.
Mobs "Diabolism" 7" EP - Hold Up/Noise Room, 1984, Japan, Poster sleeve, (NRR-E001) - $58
Mobs "Projection Of Astral Body" 7" EP - Hold Up/Noise Room, 1985, Japan, Orig. 1st press, Poster sleeve, (NRR-E006) - $50
Mobs "Gypsy On Journey" 7" EP - Advance, 1986, Japan, Insert, (AVR-002) - $30
Self-released, 3rd EP by this legendary HC band from Osaka. The songs on this EP sound more metallic than their earlier EP's on AA and Hold Up Records, but still are much faster and more powerful sounding than their LP that came out a few months after this EP in the same year. Think of the "Projection Of Astral Body" EP songs mixed with the early/mid Gastunk, The Execute(post-Baki era) and Poison Arts style. Not many people talk about the late Mobs stuff, but I dig this EP and the "Resurrection" LP.
