Aggressive Dogs "Dead Janky Girl" 7" EP - KPP, 1985, Japan, (KPP-003) - $25
Their 2nd 7" released on Kuro's label KPP Records. From Kyushu. This one is their best record in my opinion. Better than the 1st flexi, I think.

Aka "Gisouai" 7" flexi - Jisatsu Label, 1984, Japan, (GL-006ES) - $38
Another total ADK worship from the mid '80s. Released on Gas' Jisatsu Label which tried to focus on putting out the records by the lesser known bands at that time from non-major cities, such as this band, Nikudan, The Sexual, Confuse on the Jisatsu Omnibus. Don't miss this flexi out if you dig this particular style of '80s Japanese bands like Kikeiji, Masturbation, Sekinin-Tenka, The Sadist, Barigade or some of those darker soudning tunes by The Stalin.

Asylum "Out In The Streets" 7" EP - Trans, 1986, Japan, (Trans 14) - $10
This band had Zigyaku(Bastard/Judgement/Gudon) and Pill(Lip Cream) as the members on one of their later albums.

Brain Death "Personal Affair" 7" EP - Selfish/Low-Brow, 1987, Japan, (AMI-7024/Plate-04) - $25
Split release by Selfish Records and Low-Brow(S.O.B.'s old label). Ultra-fast thrash HC that sounds very similar to the "Leave Me Alone"-era S.O.B., with The Comes like female vocals. Sounds like if Chitose did vocals for early S.O.B. Fucking killer.

C.F.D.L.(Crazy Fucked Up Daily Life) "Live Bootleg" 7" EP - Overthrow, 1992, Japan, 700 pressed, (Overthrow-004) - $28

Chaos "Chaos Maniac" CD - Bedrooms, 2003, Japan, (BRCD2005) - $10
Released two years prior to the "Revolution!" EP. Not as crucial sounding than the EP, but still good high-energy fast HC.

Chaos "Revolution!" 7" EP - Downer Recordings, 2005, Japan, 300 pressed, Stamped & # 'd poster sleeve(# 264), Logo stamped inner sleeve & label, (DOR-CH-001ep) - $35
Commented by Ishiya(Forward/Death Side) on the sleeve. Awesome, distorted noise HC from Oita, Kyushu. Distorted vocals and fuzzed-out guitars over the crashing HC tunes. Very limited and hard to find 1st EP by this long-running band. Sounds totally different from their past materials like the "Oita City HC" comp tracks on MCR. Although their songs aren't exactly in the noisecore vein, I'd recommended this EP to fans of any noisy distorted Japanese HC or early Disorder/Chaos U.K.

Colt Turkey "Christmas Sucks!" 7" EP - Crucial Response, 1990, Holland, New/Unplayed, (CRR 011) - $5
Post-Larm project band. Colt Turkey went onto become Manliftingbanner. Lightning fast Dutch hardcore with funny lyrics. Check it out if you like Larm.

Complete Exclude "Many Answer" 7" EP - MCR, 1996, Japan, 700 pressed, Poster sleeve, (MCR-096) - $8

Conclusion "Wasuresarareta kioku no zangai" 7" EP - HG Fact, 2003, Japan, (HG-168) - $8

Crude "Just Go Go Ahead" 7" EP - HG Fact, 2008, Japan, 1300 pressed on black, (HG-235) - $15

Crusty Hi Charge "Jya-Oh-Ryu-Ko" 7" EP - B.J.R., 1992, Japan, Oversized extra outer sleeve(VG), (B.J.R. Records 001) - $38
100% Burning Spirits styled, raging metallic Japcore in the vein of Death Side, Judgement, Bastard, Accomplice, Crude, Forward etc. Very rare and hard to find, self-released EP. Excellent band from Osaka.

D.O.F. "Bad Ass Ultra Man!!" 7" EP - Bigstone, 1989, Japan, (BSR-002) - $8
U.S. '80s influenced Japanese hardcore. Recommended for fans of SiC, F.V.K., Dread Yankees, Scumbag etc. Self-released 11 track EP. Gudon, SiC, Rose Rose, T.D.F., Genoa are listed on the thanks list.

Desperate Children "Chaos/Fuck Day/I Love Punk" 7" flexi - Joy Riders, 1986, Japan, (No Cat. #) - $48
Another unknown but killer '80s band from Kyushu. Not exactly in the "typical" noisecore style that came out of the Kyushu area, but still AWESOME noisy chaotic HC/Punk!!!! The first two songs sound kinda noisecore-ish and the last song is in The Swankys vein. Highly recommend for fans of early Swankys, Gai, Gess, Gedon, No Cut, Chaos CH, Dust Noise or early Disorder/Chaos UK. You know the drill. Very rare self-released flexi.

Dessert "Soul Searching" Picture LP - Ranch, 199?, Japan, Clear PVC sleeve, Tour flyer & insert, (Ranch-03/SEL-Six) - $45

Dessert "World Of Fantasy" 7" EP - Ranch, 1998, Japan, 1000 pressed, Clear vinyl w/ clear pink mixed, Stamped & numbered sleeve(# 461), Insert, Flyer, New/Unplayed, (Ranch-01/SEL-One) - $28
The singer Ryuji used to be in the legendary bands Disarray, Bitousha and also this great obscure band Mino 5 with Chelsea(Deathside/Paintbox) and Katsuta(Tetsu-Arrey). The other Dessert members were/are in Sekinin-Tenka, Bloodberry(ex-G-Zet), Idiot Idolaters, Laughin' Nose, The Pogo, Kenzi & The Trips etc. As you can imagine from their background, these guys sure know what they're doing and you know what to expect from Dessert. 120% Burning Spirits style traditional metallic Japcore ala Death Side, Judgement, Crude, Nightmare, Warhead, Forward etc. Awesome throaty vocals as well. They did a great Disarray cover on the other release. This 4-track EP is a totally heavy-hitting smasher. The vinyl looks amazing, too. It's on a clear vinyl with some clear pink parts mixed. Comes in a glossy perforated package/sleeve(unopened).

Die You Bastard! "S/T" 7" EP - Handa Shoukai, 1999, Japan, (Handa Shoukai 05) - $28
Intensely fast and blasting thrash HC. Featuring the super drummer Iron-Fist Tatsushima(Crow, G.I.S.M., Scamp, The Magnets etc.) Totally raging and brutal shit! Hard to find.

Dirge "Scarred Forever" 12" - Crust War, 2006, UK, Japanese release, Booklet, (Crust War-029) - $5
Thrashy and dark '80s UK Anarcho hardcore/crust. The studio demo and live materials on vinyl. Really great obscure band.
Note: There's a scratch on the first track that makes some popping noise.

Doku-Buta(Poison Pig) "Go! Go! People" 7" flexi - Self, 1985, Japan, (No Cat. #) - $38
Think of a cross between Aburadako, Kikeiji, and The Stalin. If you like these bands, you'll love Doku-Buta! Another unknown but awesome ADK/The Stalin worshipped hard punk here. They even stole part of The Stalin lyrics and used it in one of their songs called "Egoist". The band bio printed on the sleeve says Doku-Buta is ex-Byogentai. I wonder if it's the same Byogentai that the L.S.D. singer was in! Includes 7 tracks. Very rare!! Here's a review taken from an old MRR issue: "Translating as "Poison Pig," I expected a bit more weirdness than supplied, but this slab of plastic contains some neat tracks. They can do thrash, punk, proto-punk -- all with verve and gnarly-ass vocals and guitar. Reminds me a bit of early PERE UBU." ----- (Pere Ubu?! WTF...?)

Effigy "Evil Fragments" 12" - Dark Age, 1999, Japan, Insert, (Dark Age-001) - $45
Comes with a very rare insert. Most of copies didn't come with one and rarely seen for sale. I know for sure this 12" never originally released with insert and none of the regular copies sold at the shops didn't come with it. The band mostlikely included it only in the limited copies sold at their shows and/or via mailorder. Also, there are at least two different version of the insert exist. This is the one with the lyrics, contact address and a large photo of a bunch of soldiers wearing the gasmask.

Esperanza Viva "Inside Of People's Head" Demo Tape - Jugueto Disco, 2005, Japan, w/ patch, (JxDx 001) - $8

Rare 3rd EP on Fast Nail Records, the old label ran by Zigyaku(Judgement/Bastard/Gudon). It's one of the only three releases that was put out by this short-lived label. The other two are the Warhead and Forward EP's.

Friction "I Can Tell/Pistol" - Pass, 1980, Japan, (PAS-204) - $45
One of the most important bands in Japanese punk history among the other bands from the Tokyo Rockers era like Mirrors, Lizard, Mr. Kite, Boys Boys, Aunt Sally, SS, Ultra Bide etc. Rare 2nd EP on the legendary Pass Records. Both songs are good but especially the B-side track "Pistol" is an awesome loud punk rock tune.

Fucked Up "Generation"(Mix Tape Vol.1) Cassette - Self, 2005, Canada, Ltd to 500 copies, Insert, New/Unplayed, (No Cat. #) - $10
The insert says: A self-released tape-only project. A compilation of live, exclusive, rare and unreleased tracks from Fucked Up and FU-World bands.

Gara "Manifest" 8" EP - Explosion/Vital Plant, 1985, Japan, Textured sleeve, (EXP-VPL121) - $25
One of my all-time favorite Japanese goth/darkwave bands from this era. Recommended for fans of the bands like Madame Edwarda, Phaidia, Auto-Mod, Sadie Sads, G-Schmitt etc. Very rare EP by this great band featuring the later Auto-Mod members.

Gas "The Day After" 7" flexi - Jisatsu Label, 1984, Japan, w/ "Why" newsletter insert, (GL-002ES) - $78
Just a few infos on the insert. Not all copies of this Gas flexi or any other Jisatsu Label releases came with the newsletter insert. As far as I know, only the mailorder copies did. This one is a nice, large size fold-out insert with the band photos, bio, label news etc.

Gas "Sweet Emotion" 12" - Jisatsu Label, 1985, Japan, w/ newsletter insert, (GL-007E) - $45
This one might be a little harder to find than their 2nd flexi and the split 8". Comes with a mailorder-only "Jisatsu Label Tsuushin(newsletter)" insert. Featuring Tatsu on guitars! One of the best Japanese Punk/HC guitarists who also played in Gastunk, Dead Cops, Nurse etc. Does anybody know that he actually played the guitars on all of the songs on the first Ghoul EP?

Gas "Reincarnation" LP - Captain, 1986, Japan, Insert, (CAP-0014-L) - $45
This LP was originally planned to be released as their 1st full length. However the band broke up before they finished recording the whole thing and it ended up being a compilation of the tracks from the split 8" with Nikudan('84, Jisatsu), "Sweet Emtion" 12"('85, Jisatsu) and the 4 new songs recorded just for this LP in '85. These 4 exclusive tracks are NOT included on the "1982-1986" discography LP/CD. Liner notes written by Narumi herself.

Gasatsu(Crime Fighter) "Rude Beat" 7" EP - ADK, 1984, Japan, 1500 pressed, (ADK-19E) - $45
Produced, engineered and released by Tam(The Stalin/G-Zet/Typhus/ADK Records). 1st EP by this Tokyo based band that was on the "ADK Omnibus 2" the same year. The drummer also played in L.S.D.(on their 1st flexi) and another member was in Nira-Kodomo. Contains the 9 tracks(!!) of rough and speedy Punk/HC tunes.

Gastunk "Dead Song" LP - Více/Crown, 1985/86, Japan, Insert, (25EC-1010) - $38
This is the rarer Více Records pressing with white insert. Much harder to find than the more common Love Records pressing.

Gastunk "Mr. Gazime" 7" EP - Love, 1985, Japan, Insert, (SEX69-1) - $20

Gastunk "Wild Times(Live)" 7" flexi - Pusmort/Více, 1987, Japan, (AME-I) - $10
Originally came with the limited first press/mailorder copies of the "Under The Sun" LP(Pusmort) that's sold in Japan. Rare to find a complete copy with the bonus flexi. Some copies of this flexi were also sold at their shows.

Gastunk "Gastunk Box 1983-1988" 2 x CD Box Set - Love, 1988/91, Japan, Hard carton box package, Booklet, (Love Records GT-001~002) - $45
Originally released as the limited vinyl + VHS box set that was sold only at their last show in '88. This is the super-rare double CD set reissue in a hard carton box package(the same style of the box package that the GISM SoniCrime 1st press CD comes in), and is actually even harder to find than the original vinyl box set. Contains the "Mr. Gazime" EP, "Geronimo" EP, "To Fans" EP, "Three Sex X'mas" 3 x EP + flexi set, and "The Vanishing Signs" 12". Contains 21 songs in total.

Gayrilla Biscuits "Hung Queens Can Suck It" 7" EP - Buddyhead, 2006, US, 500 pressed, Pink vinyl, (Buddyhead 19) - $10

Gendou-Missile "Attarimeeyo" 7" EP - Hold Up/Noise Room, 1986, Japan, (NRR-E012) - $20
Really cool, hard drivin' Japanese punk with gruff vocals! This is a very good EP and is possibly the best work done by this band in my opinion. Cool yakuza-ish lyrics as well. This is probably the least known Hold Up/Noise Room release outside of Japan. Max from Ghoul is listed on the Special Thanks list. Gendou Missile used to play with both Japcore style and punk rock bands in the mid '80s.

Genoa "We Got A Bomb" 7" flexi - Strange, 1990, Japan, (TLIS-01) - $5

Genoli "No Identity" 7" EP - Self, 198?, Japan, (No Cat. #) - $20
Aburadako influenced twisted punk from Tokyo. Quite obscure stuff. The only ever release by this band.

Geshpenst "Just Keep This Fighting" 7" EP - HG Fact, 1995, Japan, (HG-044) - $30 (Sold)
Produced by Chelsea(Death Side/Paintbox). Burning Spirits styled traditional Japcore. Think of the bands like Accomplice, Death Side, Foward, Tetsu-Arrey, Warhead etc. Great metallic guitar riffs, pissed-off vocals and huge mohawks...

Gewalt "Osozaki Kuruizaki" Picture 7" EP - Nippon Koukaku Ongen, 199?, Japan, Fold-out insert, Clear PVC sleeve, (NKO-1) - $38
Excellent band!!!! This EP destroys!!!! Heavy and fast, traditional metallic Japcore style that's very similar to those "Burning Spririts" style bands like Death Side, Judgement, Bastard, Nightmare or Warhead... but! Gewalt played their songs waaaaaayyyyyy faster and heavier than any of those classic bands!!!!(and possibly even better than some of them...) Think of that good ol' traditional Japcore, the style wise, plus the "5x speed", "violent guitar riffs" and "ultra pissed-off vocals". Yes, the vocals are SICK!! I'd also say that the late Ghoul or Rapes sound mixed in their songs. The Gewalt singer used to be in a band called D.D.S. that often played gigs in Kansai area with Rapes, Dilenma, Nightmare, Warhead, City Indian etc. This EP simply fucking destroys... Something like the new Gauze LP is nothing comparing to this absolute smasher. Very hard to find, self-released 6-track EP. Cool artwork on a thick, high-quality picture disc.

Ghoul "Carry Out Fucking" 7" EP - Hold Up/Noise Room, 1984, Japan, Photo booklet, Poster sleeve, (No Cat. #) - $65
Legendary 1st EP by this classic Japanese HC band. A very little known fact that Tatsu(Gastunk/Dead Cops/Gas/Nurse) played the guitars on all of the songs on this EP for some unknown reason, although Max is credited as a guitarist. No actual catalog number stated anywhere on this release, but it should be "NRR-E002".

Googol Plex "Nail A Lie To The Counter" CD - Self, 200?, Japan, 1st press w/ sticker, Bonus live video track, Obi, (GGP-001) - $15

Grent(紅蓮十) "Ganjigarame" 7" EP - Dan-Doh/Think Twice, 1997, Japan, Insert, (Dan-Doh 011/T.T.-03) - $20
Like The Stalin/Kikeiji/ADK punk meets female-fronted Japcore ala The Comes!!!! All-girl band from Tokyo that I don't think existed for that long. Man, they sure sound like if they were from the mid '80s. Not only the music is great, but also the sleeve artwork, band name, collage photos(back sleeve), hand-written lyrics and everything! (plus, recorded at Our House, ofcourse. Haha...) Perfect. Chelsea is listed on the thanks list. Grent often played shows with the Tokyo-based "Burning Spirits" type Japcore bands like Accomplice, Paintbox, Geshpenst, Forward, and also this another killer all-girl HC band called Yumefuda. Both this Grent 7" and the Yumefuda 7" are probably some of my favorite '90s releases.

Griffin FZ "Retaliation" 7" flexi - Self, 1989, Japan, (Otoko-001) - $65
Pre-Zone!! Obscure Shizuoka-city Japcore band. This flexi is extremely rare and hard to come by. The only ever release by them besides a great split demo with Exdead. Heavy-hitting, speedy and metallic Japcore in the tradition of those great '80s Shizuoka-city bands(Deadless Muss, So What, Rustler, Innocents etc.)

Guillotine Terror "No God" 7" EP - Battle Planning, 1991, Japan, Insert, (BP 91-01) - $18

HCP(Hard Core Poznan) "Anti Drugs" 7" EP - Resistance Productions/International Hardcore Movement, 1989, Poland, 1000 pressed, Hand #'d poster sleeve, New/Unplayed, (RIP 027) - $20
Fucking killer band!!! Pre-Apatia. Definitely one of my favorite '80s Polish HC records. Ultra-raw, noisy and brutal HC with intensely distorted guitar like early Brazilian or Finnish bands. This should appeal not only to Polish HC fans, but also to those who dig any Scandinavian, Italian, Brazilian and Japanese HC/Crust as well!! Man, this is seriously some powerful ripping shit!! Released on a Swiss label. Unplayed old stock copy of this rare obscure EP.

Headwasher "Guinea Pig" 7" flexi - Satsugai Enka Vinyl, 1989, Japan, (ONO-444) - $35
Distorted and violent sounding noisecore smasher here. Featuring Crazy SKB from Kyoaku Kyojindan on guitar. Headwasher was his short-lived side project band. Totally noisy and intense shit! They also had The Stalin-like chaotic live shows!! Brutal as fuck, gruff vocals over the distorted noise HC craziness. Like a mix of the Kyojinbyo flexi and noisecore. They had the two bass players(WTF?). Early record release by this long-running cult HC label by Crazy SKB. Incl. 5 tracks with the titles like "Mad Love Song", "Pleasure of Blood" etc. and has a crazy cover artwork, too. Another good obscure '80s Japanese HC flexi that's worth checking out.

Heartwork "S/T" 7" EP - Dewa/Cadmium Sick, 2002, Japan, (DR-007) - $3

Hellhammer "Triumph Of Death" CD - ????, 199?, Switzerland, Slipcase package, (No Cat. #) - $12

Innocents "Masho" 7" EP - D.I.S., 1989, Japan, Insert, (D.I.S.-004) - $55
ex-Deadless Muss. One of the best Shizuoka city Japcore bands among with So What, Rustler, Deadless Muss, Griffin FZ(pre-Zone), Mental etc. Rare and hard to find 8-track EP on Deadless Muss' label D.I.S. Records.

Insect Powder "Rip Van Win-Kle" 7" flexi - Chicken Shit, 1985, Japan, (CS-3) - $35
Greeeeeaaaaaat!! Another fine obscure band from Sendai city, where a bunch of good '80s bands like Disarray, Sekinin Tenka, Rebel, Bitousha, Idiot Idolaters, Lance Lot, Dead Person were from. Rare release on Disarray's Chicken Shit Records. Speedy, tight and metallic Japcore with really awesome drivin' guitar that stands out. Good gruff vocals, ofcourse. Their songs also got some very catchy parts as well. Totally original style. Don't be fooled by the silly band name and title.

Johns Town Aloha "Bloody Ravens Wander" 7" EP - HG Fact, 2008, Japan, 1000 pressed, 2 x flyer, (HG-240) - $12
6 tracks of totally Kyushu noisecore worshipped madness with THAT distorted and fuzzed-out noise guitar sound ala Confuse, Gai, Sieg Heil, or Gess. Apparently some of those ex-Exclaim and Breakfast guys turned into the "nuclear-addicted" noise monsters... Sold out very quickly in Japan. What the fuck does "Johns Town Aloha" mean anyway?!

Kuro "Revival Of Death" 7" EP - Kings World, 1996, 666 pressed, (KWAP-001) - $38
Contains the 4 killer tracks exclusive to this release, incl. the previously unreleased songs "Black Empire" and "Hell Dive" plus the re-recorded studio and live version of their classic tune "No More No". These tracks sound so damn aggressive and violent, the way Kuro should be!! Recorded in 1996 when they got back together for a short period. There was a plan on releasing the album but it never happened. This EP is much better than the "Fire" EP in my opinion. One time only limited pressing of 666 copies. Top-notch release by these Japanese HC legends!!!

Kyaah "Slapdash" 7" EP - AA, 1985, Japan, Die-cut sleeve, Insert & sticker, (AA-011) - $38
Great 2nd EP by one of the most well known all-female punk bands in Japan. Their later releases sound poppier and aren't that exciting but the first two EP's are awesome! What you get on this EP is speedy and high-energy punk that's similar to the Nurse flexi, Typhus '80 demo(w/ female vox), or Chu-Doku flexi. Guest chorus by the members from Lip Cream, Bloodberry, and Laughin' Nose. Kyaah used to play gigs often with Nurse, Gas and The Comes. The interesting thing is that when they changed the singer prior to this EP release, Chitose(The Comes) was gonna join the band however it never happened(too bad!). Complete copy with an insert and a red sticker which is actually part of the sleeve design(a sticker appears thru the die-cut window).

L.O.X. "Shake Hand" CD - S.E.X./Sunshine Sherbet, 1990, Japan, Obi, (SS-006) - $25
"L.O.X." stands for Lip Cream, Orange, and X. The project band by Naoki(Lip Cream), Act(Orange) and Yoshiki(X). Originally called Masami & L.O.X., with the Ghoul singer Masami on vocals. Their official '88 live recording with him is included on the rare Masami 3CD & 7" box set on Sunshine Sherbet. He obviously hasn't done anything with L.O.X. afterwards as he was in a coma since '89 til his death in '92. They were such an unique project that featured several different Japcore singers doing vocals for them both live and studio. There's a kick-ass boot live video with Tokurow(Bastard/Judgement) singing for them exists. On this 7-track CD, the each song has a different singer(except Toshi on the 2 songs). The main vocalists are Ishiya(Death Side), Butaman(Tetsu-Arrey), Toshi(X), Ranko(The Continental Kids/Sperma), Koh Ito(Fools), and even Naoki sings on an entire song! Yes, Naoki from Lip Cream doing vocals & guitars! Mix of wide variety of music style from hardcore, punk, metal, thrash to rock'n'roll. It's the only ever release by them and is on a great label S.E.X./Sunshine Sherbet that also put out the Tetsu-Arrey 1st LP/CD, The Gaia 1st CD, Nickey & The Warriors 12", The Continental Kids LP's etc. Here's some more useless(?) infos for few obsessive collectors out there. The label was ran by the same dude from Ducasse Label(Kikeiji, Real EP's etc.) and Wechselbalg Records, who also runs I.D.N.(Inner Directs/I.D. Japan) which is a large distributor that has a HUGE tie to Sakevi, and exclusively distributes the G.I.S.M./Beast Arts releases. If you're bored, take a look at the credits on your Beast Arts or OK Records, Ducasse stuff.

ex-Gess!! Late Swankys influenced '80s punk from Kyushu. Gess changed the name to Lydia Cats in '86 and put out the 1st EP on Kuro's KPP Records. Super catchy, melodic and fun punk rock. Early Kings World Records release. Nice fold-out poster sleeve with cool design, photos and Kings World release ads.

Maus "If I Find An Alien, I Follow Him And Beat Him Up!" 7" EP - Kings World, 1997, Japan, 1000 pressed, (KWSP-003) - $20 The only ever record release by one of Watch(ex-Gai/Swankys)'s post-Swankys bands playing cowpunk!!(his other bands being Space Invaders, F.B.I./Future Blast Israel, Disco Disco etc.) Yes, I guess the music genre wise it's considered what people call cowpunk. Remember The Dead Milkmen from the '80s?! "Punk Rock Girl"?! Well, who wouldn't remember such a hilarious punk rock song/music video. Ok, about this unknown band Maus, think of Watch doing the vocals for The Dead Milkmen, with The Swankys style snotty vocal style. I mean the vocal style you hear on this EP sounds just like The Swankys, and the music is very similar to The Dead Milkmen's(that particular vocal style matches the tunes so much, actually!) I first bought my own copy of this EP when it came out back in '97 without even knowing what they sound like, just because it was Watch's new band(and ofcourse loved the title, too). When I first listened to it, I was like "Holy shit, The Dead Milkmen!" and liked the whole EP a lot. Not so hard to imagine Watch getting into cowpunk at some point after The Swankys broke up, since knowing he's been always into comical/humorous/joke-ish punk rock. I wouldn't recommend this one unless you like The Dead Milkmen or cowpunk style in general(or at least Watch's vocal style). But if you do, this is the perfect record to check out. You really don't see this EP for sale often nowadays in Japan or elsewhere. This is the first used copy I've seen there in the past 15 years or so. Also, not so many Swankys fans outside of the Kyushu area know this band or record even existed. They did play a few shows, but only locally. Oh, and not to forget to mention that according to an old KWR ad, Maus also had another ex-Swankys member. I think either Loods or TV, can't remember well coz I always get confused by those odd nicknames of the Kyushu punk bands' members.
