MARCH 20TH 2013 (PART 3 : SPLIT & COMPILATION)

(   SPLIT   )

Abraham Cross / Struggle For Pride - 7" EP - Paank Levyt, 2003, Japan, 700 pressed, Extra outer sleeve, Yellow marbled vinyl, (PAANK-013) - $45
N-O-I-S-E O-V-E-R-D-O-S-E!!!!!! Gotta love this one if you're into the fucked-up noisy shit. On this crazy-ass brutal split EP, S.F.P. plays some ultra-intense and distorted noisecore crust like a mix of Gloom, Collapse Society, Exit Hippies, Confuse and all that fantastic NOIZE. Raw and noisy as fuuuuuuckkk!!!! The thick-ass bass line and the fuzzed-out guitar riffs are absolutely sick, despite the image and impression you get from the song title like "Summer Never Ends" and how their side of the center label says "chill out".... And, the usual Doom, Sore Throat and E.N.T.-inspired stench noise crustcore from Abraham Cross. Their material here is actually even noisier, destructive and waaaaaaaaay more chaotic than any of their earlier stuff. I'd say it's much more in the fucked-up noisecore vein than the classic U.K. crust style you hear on the "Peace Can't Combine" LP('94~'95 recordings) on Crust War. Seriously, some of the noisiest, dirtiest and the most crucial sounding crust/noise-core you'd ever come across, man... However, this one is a bit harder to find than most of the other Paank Levyt releases. (P.S.) Inside the sleeve, there's an ad for the forth-coming Paank Levyt release(which never came out) by a band called Mob 2000("Tokyo No.1 Political Thrash Punk"), entitled "Are You OK? No! I'm Åke!". Who the hell are Mob 2000, yo?!?!

Anarchy Condoms / Raw Ride - 7" EP - Hamakko, 2000, Japan, (浜-002/HAMA-002) - $15
Total ripping HC mayhem!!!!! Don't know much about these guys but, wow, this is an amazing split of two completely unknown bands from Yokohama city. Anarchy Condoms plays totally intense, heavy, and noisy Japcore with full of distortion. The funny thing is that their band logo is a Gauze logo rip-off. Raw Ride is in the vein of Gauze(4th LP~), NK6 or Hammer, but their songs are even faster than these bands. High-speed, thrashin' Japcore that is an absolute smasher here. The screaming vocals are awesome, too. Awesome tunes on this split, with some unbelievablly terrible sleeve artwork. It's a drawing of a samurai with the Anarchy Condoms logo symbol on his back chopping the head off of a mohawked samurai... One of the worst cover artworks I've ever seen. But the music is incredibly good, good, good!!!!!!

Asbestos / Sabbat "731 Green Cross/Tokyo Genocidemonslaught" 7" EP - Decontrol/Evil/Metal Crusade Prod., 2005, Japan, 300 pressed, Unnumbered edition(promo) w/ non-glossy thin sleeve, Insert, (No Cat. #) - $35

Bandit / Crucified Junk "Blood Sucking Freaks II" CD - Blood Sucker, 1992, Japan, (BSR-003CD) - $35
Bandit fucking rules!!! Awesome, speedy trad Japcore in the vein of Nightmare, Crück, Judgement or Evance. They appeared on the classic "Starving Dog Eats Master" comp. The singer from Ai(a.k.a. AI) was playing drums for them. Crucified Junk is also a great band from Hiroshima, featuring ex-Googol Plex and Warhead Junk members. A long out of print, early Blood Sucker label release. This was released on CD only.

Battle Of Disarm / Hylk - 7" EP - D.I.Y., 1994, Japan/Finland, Label catalog flyer, (New/Unplayed), (DIY-EP-002) - $25

Blüdwülf / Toxic Holocaust "Speed N' Spikes Vol.1" 7" EP - Relapse, 2008, US, Ltd. to 400(out of 1000 total) on clear yellow/red splatter vinyl, Orig. sticker on outer sleeve, (New/Unplayed), (RR-076) - $15

Crude / Violence Moment "Blood Sucking Freaks IV" 7" EP - Blood Sucker, 1996, Japan, (BSR-019) - $20

Death Side / Chaos U.K. - CD - Selfish, 1993, Japan/UK, Never issued w/ obi, (BELCD-12058) - $110
Extremely rare and hard to find, original CD on Selfish Records. This album was originally released only on CD format in '93, but later bootleg on vinyl in '98. Here's your chance to own the real thing. It was the last Selfish Records release, and as some of you may be aware that majority of the CD-only releases they put out right before the label ended in the early '90s were made in the much smaller quantity and are harder to find than the earlier vinyl releases that the label did during the '80s up to around '90. Like this CD, also the Assfort "5 Knuckle Shuffle", "Final Bombs "Dooms Day", Don Don "Borderline", Ogreish Organism "Oni", Rise From The Dead "Rock Fan Dead" or both the original Death Side CD's are rarely seen for sale.

Disaffect / Sedition "Work As One" 7" EP - Nabate/Flat Earth, 1993, UK, 2000 pressed, Insert, (NAB-07/FE-12) - $10

Disclose / Insane Youth "Kochi-City Hardcore" 7" EP - MCR Company, 1993, Japan, 700 pressed, Fold-out sleeve, (MCR-063) - $48

Effigy / Äpärät "We Knows Our Guilty/Lama On Loppumassa" 7" EP - Forest, 2001, Japan, (New/Unplayed), (森林-13) - $25
This Äpärät is from Japan, not the Finnish or Swedish ones with the same name. Scandinavian style raw crust with lyrics in Finnish, feat. the Battle Of Disarm members. We Knows Our Guilty!!(wtf?)

Effigy / Hellshock "USA Meets Japan" 10" - Wicked Witch, 2004, Japan/US, (WWR 025) - $30

Envy / Sixpence - 7" EP - HG Fact, 1997, Japan/Denmark, Fold-over sleeve, Label flyer, (HG-074) - $3

Exithippies / Stagnation - 7" EP - Paank Levyt, 2004, Japan, Green marbled vinyl, (PAANK-016) - $18
Fucking noisecore.......!!! The '80s Kyushu noisecore worship, Stagnation, has been putting out the good amount of noisy 7"s and tapes over the past 10 years or so, like the "Total Noisecore" split 7" with Control from a few years back! I believe this split with Exithippies was their first release. A must have for fans of Confuse, Gai, Disorder and Chaos UK!!!  "Sex, Beer & Noise"!!!

Extinct Government / Rocky & The Sweden "Earth Will Die/Burning Again" 7" EP - Self, 1998, Japan, Promo-only/freebie, Hand-written white labels,  (No Cat. #) - $55
Very rare and hard to find promo-only split EP, originally given away free at the record release show of both bands at Antiknock in Tokyo.

Extinct Government / Recharge - 7" EP - Epistrophy, 1997, Japan/Germany, (EPI 019) - $7

Grimness(69) / Groinchurn "Mucsical Holocaust/Kill For The Devil" 7" EP - Ecatombe Produzioni, 2001, Italy/South Africa, 800 pressed, Insert, (TOMB 003) - $4

Jabara (ジャバラ) / Messed Up "Best Of Jabara" 7" flexi - HG Fact, 1999, Japan, (HG-114) - $8
Jabara consists of three of the ex-Messed Up members. This flexi came out prior to the great split 12" with Evance from 2000. The Messed Up material is the outtake from their "Total Control" LP recording session from 1994/95.

Kriegshög / Dog Soldier "Howling Of The Dogs, Snorting Of The Högs" Split 7" EP - HG Fact, 2008, Japan/US, 1000 pressed, (HG-225) - $25

The Lärm reunion release with their classic tunes re-recorded in '03. Humus are metallic and thrashy Dutch crustcore. Neat packaging. Long out of print.

Minch / Sloth "Parmania" 7" EP - Agromosh/My Cheap Ass Life, 2008, US, 700 pressed on black(out of 1000 total), (AGRO #027/MCAL #004) - $5

No Futures, The (The ノーフューチャーズ) / Swindles - 7" EP - Punk Dischord, 2008, Japan, 300 pressed, Label liner-note insert & flyer, (PUNK DISCHORD-03/PDR-03) - $45
The Swankys, Gai, CHaos CH and '80s Kyushu punk worshipped noisecore, The No Futures Vs. the mid ~ late '80s King's World Records style punk fucking rock, Swindle!(highly influenced by The Swankys, No Cut and Last Child!!!) Very limited release by the Shizuoka based label, Punk Dischord Records that also put out the Control cassette etc. This EP sold out real fast immediately after its release. Listen to The No Futures / Swindle

Nightmare / Concrete Sox - 7" EP - MCR Company, 1993, Japan/UK, 2000 pressed, Insert, (MCR-049) - $40

9 Shocks Terror / Devoid Of Faith - 7" EP - Gloom, 1997, US, Purple marbled vinyl, Insert, (Gloom-002) - $4

Patareni / Extreme Noise Terror ‎"The Split Noiz Live EP" 7" EP - Falšanja Kol'ko'š, 1990, Croatia(Yugo)/UK, Red sleeve, (Falšanja Kol'ko'š Records-007) - $18
Patareni recorded live in Berlin '90 and E.N.T. recorded live in Zagreb, Croatia '88.

Patareni / Buka "Stop The War And Bring The Noise" 7" EP - Psycho Mania, 1992, Croatia(Yugo), (PMR-001) - $25

Raid / Sugar - 7" EP - Discrete, 1998, Japan, (DIS-022) - $25
Top-notch split release by these Burning Spirits style HC bands from Shizuoka city, done exactly in the tradition of the classic Japcore and Shizuoka HC bands ala So What, Deadless Muss, Innocents, Mental or early Zone. A lot of the bands from Shizuoka from the '80s~'90s were highly influenced by Lip Cream and Death Side, and these two bands on this split EP did it pretty well. Pure raging traditional Japcore at its best. I believe this is the only release of Raid, besides a few comp tracks. Sugar(ex-Swindle Bitch) also released the "Live Now, Pay Later" CD on Discrete Records in '01.

Repos, The / Fourteen Or Fight - 7" EP - Gloom, 2004, US, 1100 pressed, Clear red vinyl, Insert, (New/Unplayed), (Gloom-031) - $4

Rocky & The Sweden / Extinct Government "Earth Will Die/Burning Again" 7" EP - Self, 1998, Japan, Promo-only/freebie, Hand-written white labels,  (No Cat. #) - $55
Very rare and hard to find promo-only split EP, originally given away free at the record release show of both bands at Antiknock in Tokyo.

S.D.S. (Societic Death Slaughter) / The Hong Kong Knife "Tiger Hole Range Split 7" Series Vol. 7" 7" EP - Loft/Tiger Hole, 1998, Japan, (THRS-007) - $17
It's gotta be one of the best recorded materials S.D.S. has ever done. The 3-song blazing medley(Bastard Rock~Black Blood, Black Trap~Confused Electro) of total fucking hardcore anal-fuck at its greatest. THIS is S.D.S.

Slight Slappers / Hated Principles - 7" EP - Blurred, 1996, Japan/US, (Blurred-08) - $4

Swat / Kasumi Sawaki - 7" flexi - Hinokyu Ongaku Shuppan, 1983, Japan, Clear red flexi, (本質発掘 002) - $15
Kasumi Sawaki(credited as Kazumi Sawaki on this release) was a singer for the punk band called Hinokyu(a.k.a. Hinomiya) that has the 7" out on City Rocker Records from '84 and also ran Taiyo Records, which was a label known for some decent punk/hc releases during the mid~late '80s, like the Kyoaku Kyojindan 8" flexi and the "No!" LP(a killer LP! w/ Suehiro Maruo artwork), Detroit 7", Gendou-Missile LP, Geil 7", Genkaku Mime 7" etc. On side A of this split flexi(as a Taiyo Records sub-label release), his solo project plays some weird punk tunes with, what appears to be, some kinda strange political agitation or some sorts at the beginning of each song. I don't know what the fuck this music is. Could be some sort of a joke, tough. So, while you get some worthless weird crap on sidee A, the tracks done by this unknown punk band called Swat(or SWAT?) on the other side sound more solid and far better than the Sawaki tracks. Swat does 2 tracks here, "Death Boy" and "Roudousha Kaikyu"(= "working class" or "proletariat"). Simple, straight-forward and rough punk rock that the music style wise, I guess not very far from stuff like Typhus, The 4th International, Nurse(early), Kyaah or The Stalin(early). Yes, the style wise, and that doesn't mean that I'm saying this is as brilliant as those classic bands, but here you can check out the first track from this flexi: SWAT "Death Boy" Can't really tell for certain but the vocalist might be a female.

Systematic Death / See You In Hell "Backdrop Eu Tour 2010" 7" EP - Insane Society, 2010, Japan/Czech, 1300 pressed, Orig. sticker on outer plastic sleeve, Insert & label flyers, (IS 095) - $5

3-Way Cum / AxOxSx (Another Oppressive System) - 7" EP - Skit, 1996, Sweden/US, (SR-001) - $5

Toxic Noise / Shoka-Furyo (消化不良) "Much Ado About Nothing" 7" flexi - New Age Core, 1991(?), Japan, Orig. 1st press, (VG/NM+), (New Age Core-001F) - $10
Not so well known fact that there are two different version of this release exist. The first edition is on New Age Core label, has a B&W sleeve with a folded inner flap featuring the band photos. The second/later pressing is on J.S.R. Records(most likely the same label, changed the name) and has a red sleeve without a folded inner flap. Another release by J.S.R. is a pretty cool and fairly obscure comp CD called "Missionary Brings Of Cataclysm" from '90 or '91. By the way, I always liked this unknown band Shoka-Furyo since I first heard their 1st flexi.(self-released in '87, very hard to find, btw) I can't seem to find any information regarding them though...
Note: The flexi has a several visible dents but mostly on the blank surface near the center part that no music is recorded on, and they don't affect playing. Played fine on my turntable. The sleeve is in a great shape.

Toxik Trash / Heavy Water "Out Of Order" - 7" EP - Dirty Thrash/Teenage Scrap Sounds, 2004, Japan/UK, 150 pressed, Large fold-out insert(unnumbered) & label info insert, Clear vinyl, (DIRTY-3/TSS-1) - (Trade or Offer)
Toxik Trash is an insane, fucked-up crust/noisecore with ex-Abraham Cross members. Their songs remind of some of the other fine Japanese noisecore bands mixed with the fucked-up rawness of some old Mexican noisecore like M.E.L.I. or Cagada De Perro. Good stuff. Heavy Water from the U.K. is consisted of ex-members of Hellbastard, Amebix etc. Some Jap shop sites like P&D described their music like the classic U.K. metal-crust, but honestly more like metal to me. An extremely limited split release by the two Tokyo-based labels. 150 copies pressed and sold out immediately after its release. Dirty Thrash is the Abraham Cross dude's label that also put out the limited Hellbastard LP.

Victims Of Greed / Scum Noise "Fight For Freedom/The Power Has No Power..." 7" EP - F.F.T., 1998, Japan/Brazil, Insert & label flyer, (F.F.T.-016) - $8
Japanese Vs. Brazilian raw crust split EP that kicks major ass. I'd recommend both bands to any young and horny(and not so horny) crusties who love jerkin' off to the noise of Disclose, Framtid, Life, Doom, Besthöven, Discharge, S.D.S., Abraham Cross, Skitsystem, Totalitär, Discard, Gloom, Result, Antiauthorize and all that good 'n' juicy stuff. You know the drill.

Voĉo Protesta / Blinded Humanity "Punk Solidareco De Japano-Singapuro" 7" EP - Aktiva//Proteta, 2005, Japan/Singapore, 500 pressed, Hand-numbered, printed clear plastic sleeve(# 468), Insert, (Aktiva//Protesta Rekordo 003) - $20

Zyanose / The Separations "Fuck Split - No Communication" Demo CD-R - Self, 2006, Japan, Gig freebie, Hand-written white disc, (No Cat. #) - $25
Originally given away free at one of their shows in Osaka and it's supposed to be limited to only 100 copies or so. The Separations are/were the Zyanose studio side project band. Not sure if this band has ever played live. They sound like The Swankys! Very fucking good!! Wanna hear more songs by this band if they've got anything else out.

Apathy = Self Destruction - 7" EP - F.F.T., 1999, Japan, Poster sleeve, (F.F.T.-017) - $10
Result / Order / Tomorrow / Isolation - I'm pretty sure all the materials on this compilation are exclusive to this release. Includes an early Order material with original singer!

Attack With A Vengeance - 3" CD - Pressure, 1993, Japan, Tall package, (PR 001) - $30
Gloom / Vantage / Büll Oyster / Less Haze - Contains the early Gloom material!(4 trax) Vantage is also pretty good! Don't know anything about them but they're on the "Unknown HC Drunker" comp. Bull Oyster fucking sucks and Less Haze is just average. Never heard of this label called Pressure Records, but since the contact address is Kanazawa, I have a feeling that it might have been Datsu(Iconoclast & Delta)'s old label... This is one of those Japanese 3" size, mini CD's that comes in a tall and flat package.

Best Run Fast Volume 1 - 7" flexi - MCR Company, 1990, Japan, 1500 pressed, (MCR-027) - $12
Final Count / Slaver / Don Don / L.C. Pirates

Crust And Anguished Life - CD - MCR Company, 1993, Int'l, 1500 pressed, 24-page booklet, (MCR-059) - $35

Cry Of Soul (魂の叫び) - 7" EP - Crow, 1997, Japan/US/Finland, 700 pressed, Poster sleeve, (CROW RECORDS 3/VA-1) - $25
Crow / Final Bombs / His Hero Is Gone / Selfish

Cry Of Soul (魂の叫び) - 7" EP - Crow, 1997, Japan/US/Finland, 700 pressed, Poster sleeve, (New/Unplayed), (CROW RECORDS 3/VA-1) - $28
Crow / Final Bombs / His Hero Is Gone / Selfish

Devil Must Be Driven Out With Devil (Hold Up Omnibus) - LP - Hold Up, 1986, Japan, Insert & obi, (HU-2501) - $65
Lip Cream / Ghoul / War Painted City Indian / Saver Tiger / United / Casbah

Downtown Street Punker (Violent Party Omnibus) - CD - Anarchy Centre Recordings, 1995, Japan, (CHAOTIC: CD-009) - $40
Gai / Confuse / Gess / No Cut / Gedon / Craps - Originally released as cassette on Gai's Violent Party label in '85. This is the official CD reissue on Anarchy Centre, which I believe was the ex-Confuse member's label. Featuring some killer band photos on the back sleeve as well as inside the booklet.

Far East Thrash Army 3 (Free Style) CD - Stinky, 1992, Japan, (SRC-0006-ST) - $35
The Wretched / Scamp / Hellchild / Jesus Save / Scrap Tambourine / Pony The Klux - THE WRETCHED!!!! Here's a rare and obscure comp CD that includes The Wretched, featuring Chitose(ex-The Comes) on vocals, Matsumura(ex-Gastunk & The Comes) on drums, and Eddie(ex-X) on guitar. Awesome thrash metal with the ultra powerful vocals by Chitose!! Scamp was Iron-Fist Tatsushima(GISM, Crow, Die You Bastard! etc.)'s old band that appeared on the classic "Discharged" compilation(a Discharge tribute, w/ ENT, SDS, Raw Noise, Disaster etc.) in '92. Brutal-as-hell thrashin' metallic HC!!! Scamp kicks ass. The interesting side note that I should mention here is that G.I.S.M. is credited in the special thanks list of this release. It was produced by Seiji Kojima(I believe Stinky Records was his label) from Genoa and he was close to Sakevi, so that probably has something to do with it. And, Hellchild did a G.I.S.M. cover on one of their albums, so.... Anyways it's quite rare to see G.I.S.M. credited on any non-G.I.S.M./Beast Arts related releases.

Finnish Drunks - Punks Is Hippies - LP - No label, 1995, Finland, 3 x double-sided insert, Japanese boot, (No Cat. #) - $35
Mellakka / Äpärät / Painajainen / Rutto - Old Japanese boot compilation of classic '80s Finnish HC 7"s.  I wasn't sure of the exact release year of this LP but according to this site, it came out in '95: http://www.finnmusic.net/main.php?62555b54480775535112

Han-Shinanpo Compilation (反新 安保 Compilation) - 7" EP - F.F.T., 1998, Japan, Fold-out sleeve, Info sheet glued on inner sleeve, (F.F.T.-015) - $5
Victims Of Greed / Argue Damnation / Absent / Youth Strike Chord

Hardcore Unlawful Assembly (ハードコア不法集会) - LP - AA, 1984, Japan, 6-panel poster sleeve, (NM-/VG+), (AA-004) - $125
Zouo / G.I.S.M. / Lip Cream / Mobs / Outo / Cobra / Laughin' Nose
Note: The Crass-style, large poster sleeve has a couple of visible pinholes with creases and clear tape marks(residues) in each corner from being displayed by the previous owner. Other than the corners, the most part of the sleeve is in a good shape with no seam-splits, stains or any major damages. When it's folded, only one damaged corner is visible from outside. The vinyl looks very clean.

House Not Dead!! House Not Dread!? - 12" - New Smell, 2004, Japan, 500 pressed, (NEW SMELL 004) - $45
Death Dust Extractor / Chapmans / Housedust Sound System / Takaaki Itoh - Here's the strange 4-way split 12" with the weird ass title, put out by the Exithippies' dude's old label, New Smell Records. Only 500 copies were pressed. The first Death Dust Extractor release on vinyl. Contains 5 tracks by Death Dust Extractor, 2 tracks by Chapmans(a techno project by Jo2 of Exithippies/New Smell), and 1 track each by the other two. I guess most of the punk/crust fans are trying to find themselves a copy of this 12" solely for the early Death Dust Extractor tracks, since the music played by the other three are techno/house/noise stuff. Featuring the classic "Punk's Not Dread" parody artwork on the front sleeve.

The Human Records Trilogy 1988-1999 - CD - Real Deal, 2002, Japan, Obi, (New/Sealed), (RD/CD-06) - $65
Bad Vultures / Cracker Jacks / Humpty Dumpty / Bull The Dougs / War Machine / Contraclockwise - Contains all three rare Human Records releases from the '80s, including the Bad Vultures "Gang Up" EP, Cracker Jacks "Drink Beer" EP and the classic "Japanese Movement Vol.1" comp 12"(Bad Vultures, Cracker Jacks, Bull The Dougs & Humpty Dumpty), plus the previously unreleased "Japanese Movement Vol.2" tracks(Warmachine, Contraclockwise & Humpty Dumpty), as well as the planned-but-never-released Bull The Dougs 2-track EP!!! The total of 15 tracks of JM Oi!/Skinhead at its absolute best!!! Contraclockwise was one of the JM-related bands consisted of the members who later went on to form LRF and Blade in the '90s. The Oi!/Skinhead-era Humpty Dumpty fucking rules!!!!(their HC stuff's awesome too, of course. I heard that their sound is more like thrash metal these days though.) This CD was released by Real Deal Records(w/ the MCR Company distribution as usual), which I believe was the LRF guy's label, and for some reason it went out of print pretty quick afterwards. It's a new, still shrink-wrapped stock copy.

I'm Going Ape #2 - 7" EP - No Fucking Labels, 2006, US/Holland, 500 pressed, Clear vinyl, Insert, label flyer & black die-cut inner-sleeve, (New/Unplayed), (NFL-17) - $5
Straight Edge Kegger / N.O.Y.F.B.(None Of Your Fucking Business) / Gorgonized Dorks / CSMD

Intentional Wars - 7" EP - MCR Company, 1994, Japan, 700 pressed, Fold-out sleeve, (MCR-075) - $7

Lärm(Live in Germany/Holland) / Seein Red(in Japan) / Das Oath(in Japan) / Tear It Up(in Holland) / The Rites(in UK) / Smackdown(in Sweden) / The Horror(in UK)

Losing Your Way Volume: 2 - 7" flexi - Skinny Dip, 1999, Japan, Insert, Folded inner-sleeve/insert, (DIP-002) - $10
Total Fury / Exclaim / Vivisick / Charm / Disco Kicks / Hope / Restrain / Trademarks

Meaningful Consolidation 2 / Jungle Unity 3 - 7" EP - Blurred/Fun At Home, 2000, Japan, (Blurred-26/F.A.H-03) - $15
Rabia / Slight Slappers / Senseless Apocalypse / Phonophobia

Must Get To The Power Of The Defence For.... - 7" flexi - MCR, 1989, Japan, 1000 pressed, (MCR-020) - $35
S.D.S. / Atrocity Exhibition(C.F.D.L.) / Naüsea - An absolutely killer compilation of some of the best early Japanese crust bands, all from Nagoya. It's a pretty hard to find flexi. C.F.D.L. used to be called Atrocity Exhibition in their early days. Often confused, but their 1st EP was actually released under the name of A.E. and "Crazy Fucked Up Daily Life" is the EP title. The S.D.S. tracks are some of their first recorded materials. What makes this flexi really special is the rare appearance by the Japanese crust legend Naüsea, featuring the later Unholy Grave singer Takaho Komatsu and the drummer Nai-chin from C.F.D.L., Rabia, Future Now!, Out Of Touch etc. Ultra-harsh and brutal metallic crustcore ala Doom, Extreme Noise Terror, Sore Throat or Abraham Cross. I wanna hear the Naüsea demos. Anybody?

Natural Crust & Punk Force, Noise Making - 7" EP - MCR Company, 1996, Japan, 800 pressed, Fold-out sleeve, (MCR-092) - $30
This is a killer 3-way split EP that's pretty hard to come by(and a bit expensive in Japan these days coz Order is big overthere), compared to many of the other MCR compilations from the '90s. It's one of those few older MCR 7"s that were pressed in a smaller quantity like 700~800 copies. Contains the first ever recorded material by Order, with the original singer, from when they were still playing sloppy and raw noisecore like what you hear on their great "Punk Navigation" 1st EP on Overthrow Records. Think of early Disorder, Chaos UK, Chaos CH etc. I love all the Order releases up to the "Taep'o-Dong" LP, but especially their early noisecore stuff. Their recent releases are boring and kinda lame... Some of the Mindsuck members went on to form Reality Crisis. Noisy and distorted, Japanese style crustcore. Mental Disease, you probably already know. It's a really nice, crusty 'n' filthy comp 7" with a super-crusty sleeve artwork.

Overthrow Comp - LP - Overthrow, 1991, Japan, Insert, (OVERTHROW-003) - $75
C.F.D.L. / Furan / Disturbance / Unwise - Probably one of the earliest Japanese crust compilations. Furan and Disturbance are a bit unknown. I think Furan shared the members with D-Starve. Don't really know what other releases they have except the tracks on the FKD(Fuck Kill Destroy, the CFDL singer's old label) comp tape that I have. The ex members of Furan and D-Starve currently play in the band called United Front.

The Punx - Cassette & Booklet box set - JICC/Takarajima, 1985, Japan, Pro-copied tape, Book-style printed PVC package, 82-page booklet, (TKR-004) - $125
G.I.S.M. / Lip Cream / Gas / Cobra / Laughin' Nose / The Willard - Mega rare original!!! Classic Japanese Punk/HC comp tape with a very neat packaging. The 82-page booklet(paperback format) contains both full-color and B&W live photos of the bands. Each band has their own pages. Especially the Gas and G.I.S.M. photos and artworks look awesome. Also contains the "Independent Record Discography" section and an article with the photos of some other bands that's not included on this compilation.

Trueforce Official Rules - 12" - Trueforce Home Stereo, 1995, Japan, 300 pressed, Clear yellow vinyl, Label mail order flyer insert, (THS-S001) - $45
The Hawks / L.R.F. / Blade / West Side Boys Choir - Rare original Japanese 12" pressing on Trueforce H.S., which was the short-lived label ran by, I believe, either the L.R.F. or Blade members in Osaka, Japan. Trueforce put out only three records, the Blade 7", L.R.F. 7" and this 12", and were all very limited pressing of only 300 copies each. A small sticker label that was originally used to seal the opening of the sleeve is still attached to it. All 300 copies were pressed on clear yellow vinyl.
